Can you imagine a day when everything changes in the blink of an eye? Join me, Sister Deb Osborne, as we explore the profound doctrine of Jesus Christ's second coming—a pivotal biblical promise mentioned over 300 times in the New Testament. Drawing inspiration from Revelation 22 and current world events, we dig deep into the urgency of being spiritually prepared. This episode emphasizes the critical need for faith, vigilance, and true repentance, as the second coming and the rapture may occur without warning, leaving non-believers in chaos and despair.

Our discussion delves into the powerful testimonies of the three witnesses in Revelation 22: an angel sent by God, John the Apostle, and Jesus Christ himself, each affirming the truth of the end times. Through scriptures like Matthew 24, Matthew 25:13, and Luke 12:40, we understand the suddenness and unpredictability of Jesus' return. This heartfelt plea invites listeners to examine their spiritual lives, embrace obedience to God's word, and hold fast to the promise of salvation. Don't wait until it's too late—embrace the message of hope and redemption today.

Speaker 1:

Amen, amen, praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, so glad to be here today. When I was trying to figure out what I was going to do for today, I heard in my spirit I just heard tell them I'm coming and so we're going to talk about in today. Revelations 22,. I'm going to go over some of the stuff in there. It's called Jesus is Coming. I'm not going to go over every single scripture, but we'll go up and down through it.

Speaker 1:

You know, people, the second coming of Jesus is one of the most important doctorings in scripture and I read somewhere that it's mentioned more than 300 times in the New Testament and I've done several podcasts in the last few months and I think this one really needs to be heard. You know, jesus Christ is coming again, and when we don't know, nobody knows, not even the angels in heaven. But Jesus told us in Matthew 24, 27,. He said For as the lightning comes out of the east and shines in the west, so also shall be the coming of the Son of man. So see, people, nobody knows, but you can be sure that Jesus is coming soon and if we listen and we watch the news going on around us right now, we'll see that it's coming right out of Matthew 24. I mean, people, you need to read it and you need to believe it, because it's going on right now, right around us. Some of it did say it says you know, there's going to be wars and rumors of wars, nation's going to rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom. There's going to be famines and pestilence and earthquakes in diverse places. People, the Bible says that all of these is going to be the beginning of sorrows. I mean, can you imagine and I don't know about you, but with headlines like that, in this day and time, I think we all need to be praying because, people, I believe this is just the beginning.

Speaker 1:

So, if you open up your Bibles to the book of Revelation, chapter 22, it's the last book of the Bible and this is the promise and the message that Jesus left us with. We're not going to go over every single verse, but Revelation 22, verse 6, and the Bible says, and he said unto me these sayings are faithful and true. And the Lord, god of the holy prophets, sent his angel to shew into his servants the things that must, which must be done shortly. Now you know, he left those three witnesses with us. He left three witnesses in this book right here of Revelations to let us know exactly what was going on and everything in it. And when John wrote this book of Revelation, he was in exile on the island of Patmos I think is what it's called during this time, because he had been teaching about Jesus and they had exiled him to that island. And while he was on this island, god gave John this vision, a vision of the final days of earth, and he gave him a peek into heaven. I mean wow, wow, can you imagine? But revelations 26, 22 and 6 tells us that these sayings are faithful and true, that god sent his angel and that that was the very first witness of all of these, his angel. Now, this angel was talking to john. This was god's messenger. I mean mean, everything this angel was telling John was sent straight from God, directly straight from God. And then we go on down. If you look at the second witnesses, in verse 8, it says and I, john, saw these things and heard them. You know, john. In verse 8, he's saying you know, I saw all these. I didn't get them from anywhere else, I didn't hear it from nobody else. I personally seen and heard everything recorded in this book. Then we go on about.

Speaker 1:

The third witness was Jesus Christ himself. Over in verse 16, he says I, jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I mean, jesus said I'm telling you these myself, this is my angel and I've sent this angel to tell you the message to everybody. These three witnesses tell us everything that's going on in this book of Revelation and it's all true, because, people, he's coming soon. Jesus said three times in the book of Revelation verse 22, chapter 22,. He said he's coming back.

Speaker 1:

If you look up there in verse 7, he says Behold, I come quickly, you know, and you know he's telling us we need to pray, we need to be on our knees praying because he is coming. This is Jesus talking himself. You know, the Lamb of God. He's saying I'm coming, I'm coming soon. Then down there in verse 12, he says it again. He says, behold, I come quickly, you know. Again he's telling his children listen, man, I'm coming. And of course you know I'm paraphrasing Jesus. But and then over in verse 20, he says it again Surely, I come quickly, you know. You know he's saying hey, I can assure you. And surely I come quickly. He's saying hey, I can assure you, I can assure you that I'm coming. And he says, ready or not? He's saying I'm coming.

Speaker 1:

I know, growing up I know you've played hide and go seek. That was some of our best games we played growing up and the person would hide their eyes and they would say, hey, look, ready or not? Here I come, and ready or not? That person was going to come and hunt you. And that's exactly what Jesus is telling us today. People, ready or not, I'm coming. You know he's coming.

Speaker 1:

Again, whether we're ready or not, he's assured us he's coming and I'm going to say it over and over and over in this message. I don't know about you, but see, I want to be ready, I want to be found faithful. You know I want to be found faithful. Over in Revelations 22, verse 10, jesus told us, he said and he saith unto me Seal, not the sayings of the prophecy of this book, for time is at hand. He's telling us not to close this book and not tell anybody. He's telling us time is at hand, people, he wants us to teach this word and preach this word and preach this message to everybody. It needs to be taught. People need to hear these things. We need to teach fire and brimstone. We need to teach hellfire. We need to teach New Jerusalem. We can't be silent. For people's sake, for humanity's sake sake, we need to spread the word, and that's what he's telling us to do. That's why he told us in Matthew go and teach all nations. You know, because, people, he's coming again.

Speaker 1:

Matthew 24, 44 says therefore, be ye also ready, for, at such an hour as you think not, the Son of man cometh. You know, in Revelation 22, 12, I've read that already he said Behold, I come quickly and my reward is with me to give every man according to his work shall be. So, you see, people, not only is he coming, but he's bringing a reward for every one of us, a external reward, internal reward, external reward to be based on our faithfulness in this life, our faithfulness in serving Christ. He's coming soon and we need to keep our lamp oiled up and burning. See, we don't know when, but we need to be alert, we need to be watchful. Above all, people, we need to be faithful.

Speaker 1:

You know, revelation 22, 11 says he that is unjust, let him be unjust. Still. He that is filthy, let him be unjust. Still. He that is filthy, let him be filthy. Still. He that is righteous, let him be righteous still. And he that is holy, let him be holy still. And you know what this is saying to me. This is saying, hey, you know what Time for repentance is over. Time for fulfillment is come. It's imminent, it's just on the next page. People are going to be saved and people are going to be lost. People will still be who and what they are.

Speaker 1:

We can't say it enough that Jesus is coming soon. He says I'm coming home, I'm going to be there soon, and I've kept my promise. I have something for all of you. The final judgment on both the righteous and the wicked is going to be judged of works. You see, that reward mentioned in 2 Timothy 4 and 8, it's that crown of righteousness that the Lord shall give to all who care and love his coming, his appearing.

Speaker 1:

You know, god even extended one last invitation to mankind in Revelation 22, 17. He said and the Spirit and the bride say Come and let him that mankind. In Revelation 22, 17. He said and the Spirit and the bride say Come, let him that heareth come, say Come, let him that is athirst, come Whosoever will, let him take of the water of life freely. You know, in verse 20, he's testifying these things. It's saying, surely, I come quickly. You know it's a strong, affirmative man, I'm coming.

Speaker 1:

And the Apostle John, he said in the last prayer, he said the very last prayer in the Bible. He said amen, even so, come Lord Jesus. And John's saying hey, yeah, come on, lord Jesus, please. He's saying the church is suffering, your people are suffering. He's asking them come on. Your people are suffering. You know he's asking them, come on. You know that his children are eager for his appearing. And lastly, in verse 21, you know he says, in the grace of our Lord, jesus Christ, be with you, amen. You know it's grace is God's favor. That's what saves us. You know it's a gift, it's free and it doesn't stop it actively and constantly working in the lives of God's people. It's free to us. We couldn't pay for it if we wanted to, if we had to People.

Speaker 1:

I love this chapter of Revelation. He's promised three times and then some. The main thing is to know him and to be ready for his return. You know Titus 2 and 13 says we are filled with hope as we wait for the return of our great God and our Savior, jesus Christ. See, our hopes, our hopes are all focused on his return our dreams. You know, when he comes, everything's going to be restored. Return our dreams. When he comes, everything's going to be restored, all creation's going to be healed, all suffering is going to be turned to glory. No more evil, no more sin, good works are going to be rewarded, all of our troubles are going to be over. I mean, what a day, people. What a day that's going to be.

Speaker 1:

I promise you the book of Revelation is not fiction. It's all true. It's going to come true someday. It already is, if you just look around you, people, we need to be ready. We need to keep our eyes on Jesus Christ and be ready, because when we think not, he's going to appear.

Speaker 1:

And I want to ask you you know, think about this If God came right now, would you be ready and have you been saved? Do you know Jesus as your Savior? And if anything that I have said here today has made you think about that or question where you stand, then maybe you need to get down and talk to God about your life, because the reality is there's two destinations and you better know God and you better have a relationship with Him, because once you draw that last breath, or once Jesus Christ splits those eastern skies, it's going to be too late, because people, he's coming back. He's coming back again the first time. He came as a baby to share His ministry, to preach that the kingdom of God is at hand. He came back to grow. He came back to get on that cross and die for our sins and he came back on the third day. He ascended to his Father and he will come again someday. And he's coming back as the King of kings and the Lord of lords and every eye is going to see him and everybody's going to bow down to him.

Speaker 1:

And if you are saved, ask yourself are you living in obedience to his word? Are you really trying to live a life of obedience? Maybe you've become discouraged somewhere along the way about things in your life. Who knows? You know people. You need to take comfort in the fact that he is coming again and he cares, and all he tells you, all he wants you to do, is bow your head right now, pray and cast your cares on Him. Draw from His comfort. That's what he's there for, you know.

Speaker 1:

I advise you please don't think that maybe you're going to start living for Christ in the future and someday. But you know, people, someday may be one day too late. Don't think to yourself well, I'm on the fence and someday I'm going to get on fire. For God, people, I read somewhere that true repentance is never too late and late repentance is seldom true. Friends, today is the day to be filled with Christ. Today is the day to get right before it's too late.

Speaker 1:

I'm imploring you to listen to me, because Jesus is coming someday and it's going to be sudden, it's going to be unexpected. Matthew 25, 13 says watch, therefore. So for you know neither the day nor the hour. We're in the Son of man cometh. Luke 12 and 40 says be therefore ready for also for the Son of man cometh at an hour when you think not, people, it's going to be like lightning. It's going to be obvious to everybody. You know the second coming of Christ is going to be a lightning. It's going to be obvious to everybody. The second coming of Christ is going to be a glorious, worldwide event like nothing we've ever seen before, and we're going to see tears of joy on a Christian's face and we're going to see the sinners cry. You know he is coming again. Jesus is coming again, people.

Speaker 1:

He said so himself in John 14, 1 through 3. He said in my father's house are many mansions, he said. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place, I'm going to come again and receive you unto myself that where I am there you may be also. What a promise, what a promise. You know, what a promise. What a promise. You know the second coming is going to be an event that everybody's going to experience. Nobody's going to be able to run and hide. Nobody's going to miss it.

Speaker 1:

You know, revelations 1 and 7 says behold, he cometh with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they also, which pierced him, and all the kingdoms of the earth shall wail because of him. You know what that's telling me? That's telling me, brothers and sisters, that every single person at the end of the cross that day that laid their hands on our Savior, every single person that put that crown of thorns on His head, every single person that cut Him on His body, everybody that made Him bleed, everybody that gave him vinegar on a sponge, everybody that made our Lord and Savior bleed, they're going to see him. They're going to see him. That's what it says right there. Everybody that pierced him, and you know 1 Corinthians 15 and 52 tells us it's going to be with the sound of a trumpet.

Speaker 1:

1 Thessalonians 4.16 describes Jesus coming from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of God, and we're going to hear shouts of praise. People, we're going to hear shouts of praise. It's going to be sudden, it's going to be a surprise. Every knee is going to bow. Know it's going to be sudden. You know it's going to be a surprise. Every knee is going to bow and every tongue is going to confess.

Speaker 1:

First, thessalonians 5 and 24 tells us that he's going to come like a thief in the night, and right up until that time, people are still going to be going about their daily lives without a clue that he's coming, because nobody wants to hear, nobody wants to listen. That's why it's important that we can't give the devil footholds in our lives. We need to keep our eyes fixed on God, we need to be in prayer, we need to be in the Word. Nobody knows when it will happen. The Bible is very clear on it that not even the angels in heaven know. Only God the Father, only God, the Father. And there is an event coming up.

Speaker 1:

Everybody's heard about the rapture and it's a signless event. It's a signless event. There's no signs in the Bible that speak specifically to the rapture of the church. There's no signs in the Bible that speak specifically to the rapture of the church. There's no signs. The rapture is the next event and it can happen at any second now, any minute. It could be today, tomorrow, next week. There's nothing in the Bible holding back the rapture from happening in the 21st century. Nothing. There's nothing to be fulfilled.

Speaker 1:

The Word of God says it's going to be in the twinkling of an eye. And you know what? I read somewhere that there has been books wrote about that. And it's the fastest human reflex, it's the fastest thing that our body can do a twinkling of an eye. Can you imagine how fast the coming is going to be? Either way, people, you're not going to have time to pray. There's not going to be no time for repentance, there's not going to be no time to make things right In the twinkling of an eye. Think about that. Think about it. Maybe I sound like I'm begging, maybe I am. You know what? That's okay, because I'm begging for you, for your soul. You know, after the rapture, people, there's going to be a lot of chaos going on here and the ones that do not believe in God, they're going to be left behind. All the believers are going to be gone. And, people, we need to be ready because if you don't leave this world and you get left behind, the world is going to be a whole lot different place.

Speaker 1:

Revelation 6 and 12, 6, verses 12 and 14, says that a great earthquake is going to happen, that the sun is going to be black, the moon is going to be as blood, the stars of heaven is going to fall to earth. People, it says every mountain will be moved out of its place. Listen to me, listen to me, people. Revelation 6 and 16 says that we're going to ask the mountains and the rocks to fall upon us to hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, from the wrath of the Lamb. People, it's coming and you know the book of Revelation. I'm not trying to scare anybody. It's not meant to scare you. It's meant to just make you think about not wanting to be here.

Speaker 1:

The book of Revelation can be a book of judgment for you, or it can be a book of vindication. It's your decision as to what it is. If you choose to serve the world, then it's going to be a book of judgment, and, oh, there is going to be a judgment on this evil world. But if you choose to serve Christ, it's going to be a book of victory and you need to decide. You know which it's going to be, because I'm telling you, people, jesus is coming soon and you need to let that soak in. I don't mean in theory. I'm telling you all that Jesus is on the way. I'm telling you, I'm telling you now the trumpet is going to sound and I'm begging you don't gamble with eternity, because hell has no exit doors, there's no redos, there's no do-overs. You need to seek the Lord while you can. You need to seek the Lord while you can. You need to seek the Lord while you can.

Speaker 1:

And I want to ask you, people, are you ready? You know, if Jesus came right now, would you be ready? Have you given your heart to God? If not, then I urge you strongly, urge you to turn your life over to God and he will forgive you for all of your sins, and then believe on Him. You know, declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that he died on the cross for your sins. Believe that he came back on the third day. Believe that and then get into the Word of God. Get into the Word and stay there. Get into the Word and stay there, people. Get into the Word and stay there. Get into the Word and stay there, people.

Speaker 1:

You know, if we read down there, christ didn't leave us with that final word of condemnation. He left us with one last invitation. He's asking us. He said come. He said any of you that are thirsty, come, get out of the grips of sin, get off the road to hell, lay your life down, lay your burdens down and drink from the water of life freely. He said come. You know. And john leaves us with one final prayer and blessing. You know relations 22, 20 and 21. He said amen. Even so, come, lord jesus.

Speaker 1:

See god's last word in Revelation. It's an invitation to to drink of the river of life and live in God's new heaven and his new earth. But the thing about it is, brothers and sisters, he gave us the last word. He gave us the last word and it's up to us, it's up to every single person that's hearing my voice today as to whether you want to drink of the water of life or do you want to be down here and be in death and destruction? And I mean, I don't want to be here. I don't know about you, but I do not want to be here when that happens.

Speaker 1:

But he left that last word up to us. And if you want to give your life to the Lord, step wherever you are right now, Sit down, bow your head and give your life to God. Tell the Lord, ask him to come in your heart and be your personal Savior. Ask him to get you off of that road to hell, because he will. He will get you off that road and he will put you in his word. He will put your name in his book of life. He will give you off that road and he will put you in His Word. He will put your name in His book of life. He will give you the glories, He'll give you the righteous crown. You just have to live for Him. You just have to live for Him and give Him your life.

Speaker 1:

People, I'm going to close with this. He's right there and he's talking to you today. The Spirit says come. He says come and get out of the grips of sin, Lay your burdens down, Come and give your life to Him. Don't wait around and don't wait too late. Don't wait and draw your last breath, because if you draw your last breath, it's going to be too late. If you wait until Jesus Christ splits those skies, there's going to be no repentance. You've missed heaven. Please, I beg you, I implore you, Think about what I've said here today and I hope and pray.

Speaker 1:

I've said something that will make you change your mind, that will make you get off of that road from sin. I hope this has blessed you as much as it has blessed me to bring it to you.
