Cawood Church Of God Sunday Service 3-30-25 The Deep Waters: Finding Abundance Beyond Comfort
Pastor Carter delivers a powerful message about moving beyond comfortable, shallow faith to experience God's abundant provision in deeper spiritual waters.
• Peter's fishing expertise told him Jesus' command to "launch out into the deep" wouldn't work
• We often negotiate with Jesus instead of simply obeying His commands
• Comfort in "ankle-deep water" prevents us from experiencing spiritual abundance
• Many believers are content with "splashing around in the kiddie pool" of familiar faith
• Going deeper requires overcoming fear, logic, and our own expertise
• Jesus' commands often contradict professional training and conventional wisdom
• Obedience may require undoing work we've already completed
• When we launch into the deep, Jesus goes with us - we're never alone
• The choice is simple but profound: "do what He says or don't"
• Spiritual breakthrough happens when we follow God's instructions despite our doubts
I'm calling the Church to return to the altar. Stop asking for blessings without being willing to go where God commands. Launch out into the deep and let down your nets, even when it defies logic. The abundance you seek is waiting in deeper spiritual waters.
I would like to welcome everyone to the show enjoy and God bless everyone.

Speaker 3:Thank you, Jesus. If you have a Bible with you, I want you to turn with me to Luke's.
Speaker 1:Gospel.
Speaker 3:Luke's Gospel, chapter 5. The book of Luke, chapter 5. I tell you what I love seeing all these babies in the congregation. I'm talking from newborn right on up to 6'4" 19-year-old babies. I love seeing all these babies in the house of God. We got some baby dedicating to do Amen, giving these babies back to the God who gave them to us. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
Speaker 3:I want to preach to you today about Jesus, and it's all centered around him and who he is and what he does. But I want to read just a few verses with you together and I'm not going to leave you standing very long and then we'll go back and we'll hit them, maybe one by one. Verses 1 through 10 of Luke's gospel in the fifth chapter. And it came to pass that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Ginceneret and saw two ships standing by the lake, but the fishermen were gone out of them and were washing their nets. Let's stop right there. Lord, we thank you for your word. We thank you. We know, dear God, that your word is already anointed and, dear Lord, it's already gone forth to fulfill its purpose into the hearts of the people. My prayer today is, lord, that you would now anoint my lips of clay. Dear Lord, that I will speak words under the unction and the anointing of your spirit that makes preaching effective, dear Lord, that we'll penetrate the mind and the heart. Dear God, that everybody under the sound of my voice today will not be hearers only, but will be doers of your word. Dear Lord, this is our roadmap and these are the instructions that we are to follow to make heaven our home. And, lord, as we open up the scripture and as we look at the words that are written in the confines thereof, I pray, lord, that we will be hungry for your word, that we will chew it up and we will swallow it. Dear Lord, we will regurgitate it, dear God, as we do what you command us to do. And, lord, let us never, as people, with air in our lungs and a beat of our heart and a voice, let us never fail to attempt to give you praise that is worthy and is a sweet, smelling savor in the nostrils of who you are. And, father, we'll never fail to give you the praise, the honor and the glory for it all. And it's in Jesus' name we pray and everybody said amen and amen. We've already got one wanting to preach. We claim that in the name of Jesus. Let me just go ahead and give this disclaimer your babies don't bother anybody. Amen. I'm so glad.
Speaker 3:I'm not against children's church, I'm not against any of that. But I'll tell you what. I'm just going to go ahead and tell you how thankful I am that when I was a child they didn't throw me in a room back there, that I was right in here and I saw what I saw as a little child and it made me hungry and thirsty for more Amen. I'm not saying Sunday school is good, wednesday night is good, amen. But when it's an evangelistic worship service, I think everybody ought to take part and everybody ought to be present. That's just my thoughts.
Speaker 3:Somebody said, well, so-and-so won't come because you don't have children's church. I hope they find somewhere, because I want our babies exposed to a move of the spirit of God, amen. So anyway, let me. Let me, let me get into this. You've got Peter, james and John who have been fishing all night long. Anybody in the room like to fish? Amen, been fishing all night long. And uh, there you go, acting like he's bothering somebody, but he's not. You know why he does that? Because we do Praise the Lord. I'm about to do it again. It's like he reached the Mecca. I'm on the platform. Y'all might as well get used to that. You're going to see that boy on platforms preaching the gospel. I say we declare it, we call things that are not as though they are. Amen.
Speaker 3:Peter, james and John been fishing all night long, didn't catch a thing, in this particular place, in this particular time, in order to be a successful fisherman, you fished near the shore, at night, at night time. At this again, at this particular time, at this particular season, this particular place, they were known to fish near the bank, near the shore, in the shallow water, at night time. Well, all night long, brother Steve, they fished all night and they toiled all night and they tried all night and they cast their nets all night and they did everything that they had been trained to do all night long, and they didn't catch one little measly fish. As a matter of fact, they were taking their nets and they were washing out their nets because they were saying we give up, we're done trying, we're not gonna stay out here another minute. Matter of fact, the sun is rising, it is daybreak. I love when Christian said a while ago, we're gonna have a sunrise service and the time later will be announced. I'm gonna go ahead and tell you the time at sunrise. Amen, it'll take place at sunrise, and anyway. So the sun was coming up and, according to their training and according to their profession, it was time just to stop. The fish were not going to bite anymore. They wasn't going to be where they were supposed to be anymore, so they were washing out their nets.
Speaker 3:And about that time, here comes a man by the name of Jesus. I don't know if you've ever heard of him or not, but he came through town and all the people were around him and they were thronging him, and they were encircling him and they were cramping his style and they were getting so close because they were so intrigued by what he had to say Amen. I'm going to interject this little point before I go any further. I would to God that the church would get back to being enthroned by what Jesus had to say, more than what Jesus had to do, because you don't get to have what he does until you hear what he says. We are a people that wants Jesus to do and do and do and do. But we don't want to hear what Jesus has to say and say and say and say Jesus didn't come just to heal you and to shout you and to make you feel good. Jesus came to preach to you and to give you his word and to give you his road map to go by, to give you his word and to give you his roadmap to go by. So we got to fall in love with his word before we fall in love with anything else.
Speaker 3:So Jesus yells out while Peter's over there washing his nets they were washing their nets, verse three. And Jesus yelled out to Peter hey, peter, can I borrow your boat for just a minute? So we entered into the ship which was Simon's or which was Peter's, and he said when he gets in the boat and Peter's, like sure, you can borrow my boat. It's not doing me any good. I didn't catch anything all night long, don't you think Jesus knew that already? He said can I borrow your boat? And Simon obliges and allows Jesus to enter his boat.
Speaker 3:There was a reason Jesus wanted to enter the boat. He said now thrust me out a little from the land. And he sat down and he taught the people from the ship. Man, we want to get to the good part, don't we? This is the good part, amen. Jesus said move me out just a little bit from the shore because I'm going to sit here and a lot of people don't like that. Can I borrow your stool, tyler? Hope I don't un-plug anything, man.
Speaker 3:So Jesus borrows Simon Peter's boat. He gets in the boat, he has him a seat, bible says. While he's sitting there he started teaching the people from the ship. You know why he did that? Because they couldn't get to him. They had to stay at bay. Because the reason they were thronging him and the reason they were so close to him is because they heard that there was a woman not long ago that had a free bleeding sickness. That when she touched the hem of his garment, after spending every dime she had on doctors and medicine and big pharma and everybody else in the world, she spent all of her money and all of her riches for a quick fix, feel good, kind of thing. Amen. But they heard that when she touched the hem of his garment, her blood dried up and her sickness was healed. Why? Because she touched the hem of the great physician.
Speaker 3:I think we need to first go to the prayer clause. My God, my God, brother Mark's message went Wednesday night on the altar A personal altar, a family altar, a corporate and a church altar. Listen to me. Church of God in Kaywood, kentucky. It is time we return to the altar. I might could do this, sitting down preaching Call me David Jeremiah man. And he sat down and he taught the people because the people needed to be taught. They needed to be taught because they didn't know half of what they thought they did.
Speaker 3:Y'all ever heard me tell the story of when I lost my ever-loving mind for a couple years and thought I'd coach ball. It coached me. You know what I mean by that. It had a hold on me. I didn't have a hold on it and I had to look at some players and let me tell you something. We live in a day where people are soft. Church people are soft. You get mad here. You can go a matter of yards and find a place that you might like better. Instead of deciding to get rooted and grounded where you're supposed to be, you're tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine. I had to look at some players in the past, brother Steve, and say listen to me, son, I love you, but you're not half as good as you think you are, or your mama thinks you are, or whoever thinks you are.
Speaker 3:Sometimes we need the cold hard truth right, because there are times we get a little bit too big for our britches or skirts, that we need to be taught a thing or two. So Jesus wasn't going to stop until he taught the people, and I want to tell you this sometimes some of his best teaching is through our lives and things we do or things we don't do. So Jesus was on the ship teaching to the people, so we're going to pretend that this is the ship. Jesus sat and taught all the people that were thronging him Verse 4. Now, when he had left speaking, in other words, when he was finished, he said to Simon Peter y'all ever been to church and you know that, you know, you know, you know the preacher's talking to you. You're like Holy Ghost must just went ahead and told him my name, amen. Any of you ever been guilty of looking down when they look you dead in the eye? Come on, let me just go ahead and tell you, as a teacher, the ones who look down are the ones I call on, because they're probably the ones that need called on man.
Speaker 3:So when Jesus got done preaching or teaching or speaking or exhorting what we do anymore, brother Jason, is we pray a prayer, we say amen, as Brother Keaton used to say. We shake hands, be friendly. God bless you. We end the service, we get in our cars and we go on our happy little ways. And that's what Simon Peter thought was gonna happen today. Matter of fact, simon Peter didn't even come to church on purpose. Church came to him. Oh, I'm about to preach real good right now. Sometimes church will come to you. You think you're getting away from the great big eye of God, but the great big eye of God has his eye on you. He's following you, he sees you, he knows the thoughts you have. It's okay, it's okay, repent now. He knows what you think and sometimes, when we try to avoid the church, sometimes the church will come to us. Peter was just there parking his ship, washing his nets, and it just so happened he was in earshot of the preacher.
Speaker 3:So Jesus preaches when he's done, brother Jason, he said to Simon Simon's like I didn't even ask for this, I didn't even put a George in the plate, jesus, I didn't even put on my church clothes. My God, some of the best church services I ever was in was when I didn't have my church clothes on Amen. Some of the best church services I was ever in amen is when we wasn't in the church building, surrounded by all the mechanics and the lights and the music and the this and that Some of the best encounters I've ever had with God was in my car drive. Some of the best encounters I ever had with God was in my office, when I had to lock my door so somebody didn't think I'd lost my ever-loving. Not. Some of the best services I ever was in, it was in the ones I didn't even go to. They came to me.
Speaker 3:Now Jesus, like he does best, is getting ready to destroy logic. He's getting ready to say I don't care what your training is and I don't care what your profession is. You've got a choice, big boy Do what I say or don't. Sounds simple, doesn't it? Listen to me, folks, everybody in this room, listen to me right now, if you don't hear another word, I say get this right here. You've got two choices you can do what he says or don't. Now I'll let you figure out the rest when you do what he says.
Speaker 3:I didn't say do what he says. I didn't say do what you want, because nine times I've been in this all of my life. As far as being in the church from my mother's womb while she sang Steppin' on the Clouds, or he Can and she'd shout all over the stage with me in her womb, I've been in this, in the words of Sister Mabel Sage, for the benefit of the church. The more I thought about that, I don't know how much of a benefit I've been to the church, but nonetheless I've been in this for the benefit of the church since March, the 13th, 1996, for 29 years. In other words, I've been in this for 29 years paying attention. Nine years, in other words, I've been in this for 29 years paying attention. For the seven, 16 years prior to that I wasn't paying a whole lot of attention, but I can tell you this nine times out of 10, and those of you that's been in this longer than me might can attest to this what Jesus wants and what you want are a lot of times not the same thing.
Speaker 3:So Jesus got done preaching. They prayed the benediction. They said amen. Everybody was shaking hands and getting their money ready for the not Mexican, probably the seafood restaurant Long John Silver's. They were getting ready to go eat Amen.
Speaker 3:When Jesus said church ain't over yet. Hey, peter, come here. I want you to launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a drought. Okay, a couple things. According to professional fishermen, the fish aren't out in the deep. Number two aren't out in the deep. Number two I done washed my nets and you want me to go get them dirty again because we don't like to be inconvenienced. And he said when you launch out into the deep and you let down your net, you're going to catch that word drought or draught is interpreted as, in Cawood dialect a whole lot of fish. Now there is where logic meets faith. Fish aren't out there. I've already washed my nets and I've been fishing all night long. In case you didn't know Jesus is like, but I did Because I know everything Jesus says. You're telling me that in broad daylight, way out there with the nets I've already washed. You're telling me I'm going to catch a whole lot of fish.
Speaker 3:Five here goes Simon Peter. He's got to go and tell Jesus how smart he is, how trained he is, how professional he is. But Jesus, I've been trained. This is my livelihood. This is how I make a living. I went to fishing school. This is my livelihood. This is how I make a living. I went to fishing school for I've got a doctorate degree in going fishing. I've got more degrees than a thermometer in fishing and all you are is a lowly carpenter, a Nazarite.
Speaker 3:lowly carpenter, which the word says nothing good, comes out of Nazareth. Simon answering him Master, we have fished all night long and we have taken nothing. He says, jesus, we've done this all night. Let me give you a lesson, jesus. You're supposed to fish at night in the shallow end. You're telling me, in broad daylight, to launch out into the deep. Let me tell you, jesus, I'm the professional fisherman, you're the professional carpenter. Let me do my thing and you do your thing.
Speaker 3:You're a lowly, no good scoundrel from Nazareth and I'm a fisherman from the Holy Land, but nevertheless I love it. We go kicking and screaming Right, right. We try to negotiate with Jesus. We try to give Jesus all the reasons why that won't work and Jesus, brother Scott's just standing there listening to him flap his jaw Like you done. Peter said nevertheless, at your word, I will let down the debt. There's a couple things he had to do. First, brother Paul, he had to launch out into the deep. I'm afraid, I'm afraid, afraid. Don't mind my dino from the Flintstones.
Speaker 3:Your ankles and your hands are the only thing dark on your body. The church of 2025 has become so used to splashing around in the shallow, and we've been splashing around in the shallow end all night long, my God. We've been coming to church all night long. We've been paying our tithes all night long, we've been going by the book all night long, but we've been doing it all night. We've not caught a thing. It's because we're used to the shallow end and Jesus is calling, in particular, the Kaywood Church of God to launch out into the deep. I want to know who in this room will say with me, pastor, I'm ready to launch out into the deep, I'm ready. I'm tired of low living Water splashing Ankle deepening Water, but it's safe here. Me and Wayne Pate. When Brother Wayne, sister Helen and Alexis went to church here Before they moved to Winchester, we took a group To the Levi Jackson State Park in London.
Speaker 3:Don't know if they still have their slides and their pools there, I don't know. Okay, we took one boy in particular by the name of Donnie. Donnie was a 13-year-old brother. Jason, good-sized young'un. Donnie had been scared all day long. We had been, we had been Chris, we had been souping him up all day long about this slide, cause we knew he is scared to death and we had been oh listen, you can do. You know how. You know how you do. We did with Paige and the roller coaster at Dollywood. We have the picture and when I find it I'm posting it. So be on the lookout. It was Sister Paige's very first roller coaster. Yes, what you're thinking in your head very first roller coaster yes, what you're thinking in your head is exactly how it happened and how it looked. We've got it somewhere, don't we? We'll find it. Anyway, on that old Radley church bus that we borrowed from the loyal church of God, we had been really pumping Donnie up for the slide, cause I don't know that Donnie had ever gone swimming.
Speaker 3:He gets up there to the top, I'm down here at the bottom. He gets up there to the top, I'm down here at the bottom. I don't know what I'm going to do, but I'm down here at the bottom and he's like I don't know if I should, and he's back and forth, and back and forth, and back and forth and finally, with the anointing of God in his arms, one of the other kids took off. You ain't gonna do it. The Lord told me to tell you. I don't remember who it was, but the young man took both arms, brother Steve, and with every ounce of anointing in those little eight-year-old arms he pushed Donnie as hard as he could and the next thing we hear is oh my God, there he comes out the bottom, spitting and then going on I can't breathe. I can't breathe and we're like stand up. So he stood up.
Speaker 3:He was in ankle deep Church is splashing around having a good old time in ankle deep water. But then we wonder why we're not catching anything. It's because we've been given a mandate in the book of Luke, chapter number 5, to launch out into the deep. But it's scary, I know, but I'm with you, but I've never been there. My God, I hope you get that right there. I've never been there before. That's exactly right. God has taken you places you've never been and doing things you've never seen done. Anybody need a miracle. He's going to give you a miracle right out there in the deep, but you've got to lose your fear and jump in head first At thy word, I will Six, six, I will Six.
Speaker 3:And when they had done this, they, they. I thought he just told Simon they means more than one. I know in a world that's real confused about pronouns the church is not we still say he, him, she, her. Please don't make me give a biology lesson, because if you're born this way, you're a she and a her, and if you're born that way, you are a he and a him In this church, as long as this pastor's breathing air and the minute. I'm not saying they ever will, I'm just giving you a disclaimer. If they ever do, the denomination ever says anything, otherwise we will march right out of this building and they can have it and we'll meet at your house and my house and his house and her house and whoever's house, and we will worship God wherever we got to worship God, but as long as it's a he and a him and a she and a her. So in a world that's real confused about pronouns although the church should not be and when they had done this, who's they?
Speaker 3:Simon Peter had somebody with him. That tells me that when he launched out into the deep, he didn't launch out into the deep by himself. Somebody was with him. I think there's a song in that book that says oh, I have somebody with me to share my heavy load. I feel his presence near me every day. Though trouble overtakes me along life's weary road, I have somebody with me all the way.
Speaker 3:Jesus launched out into the deep with him. He didn't send him by himself. He'll never send him by himself. He'll never send you by yourself. If he told you to go, bless God, he's going with you. Amen. If Jesus brought you to it, he'll bring you through it. He won't leave you, nor for somebody. Thank you, Holy Ghost, there's somebody in this room. Today. You're feeling all kinds of forsaken and all kinds of lonely. I came to tell you today you are not alone. He is with you always, even to the end of the world. He's with you now and he'll be with you tomorrow. So when they had done this, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes. So when it was time to reap the reward, he needed help. There were so many fish, he needed help with the net. Okay, launch out into the deep, you with me. That's your first command. Actually, your first command is to get over yourself and quit telling God reasons why he can't do something. We might not verbally say it, but don't our actions sometime portray as though he can't do it?
Speaker 3:so the first thing we got a hurdle is this it can't be done hurdle and then we launch out into the deep and we've got to know that, although according to my training and according to my knowledge and according to my wisdom, fish aren't out there until Jesus sends them out there. So you've got to hurdle your own logic and your own knowledge and your own wisdom. Number two you have to launch out, like he said to do, and there's some of you that's going to leave here today and you're still going to be splashing around in the kiddie pool next Sunday. It's like I posted yesterday. Peter did not put on Facebook.
Speaker 3:Prayer meeting 9 am, upper room. Come, we'll give you breakfast. I'm not a marketer, I'm a Pentecostal preacher. I'm not an entertainer, I'm a gospel preacher. Amen. My job is not to market and to try to outdo somebody's flyers. Jesus said tarry in Jerusalem until you be endued with power from on high. Amen, that Jesus. Jesus didn't wring his hands and say oh, I hope they come. No, jesus said if 500 show up, I'm giving 500 the promise of the Father. If 120 show up, I'm giving 500 the promise of the father. If 120 show up, I'm giving 120 the promise of the father. If 12 show up, I'm giving 12, I'm going to give it to whoever shows up.
Speaker 3:God's waiting on some of us just to show up. He launched out Okay, here I am, I'm out in the deep, bless me. There's another command Everywhere in the Bible. I call it the cause and effect method. You do this, jesus does this. Even salvation, as free as it is, you've got to repent before you receive the gift of salvation, even the freest gift, the greatest gift ever known to man being salvation of the soul. You've got to do something. First, you've got to recognize that you are a sinner in need of a Savior. You have to ask Him to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart. And then you've got to go tell it everywhere you go. I'm out here, bless me.
Speaker 3:Some of you think, because of who you are, you should get a blessing. Come on, blessing's not inherited. You should get a blessing. Blessing's not inherited. And neither is the sickness Ouch, ouch, I'm so sick of hearing hereditary.
Speaker 3:It is a generational disease. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no. It was Until you stood on your own two feet and made your back like a T-rail and looked the devil in the eye and said, yeah, it stops right here. It's no longer generational, it's no longer it's not touching my kids or my grandkids or as many. I know mama, I know grandmama, I know great-grandmama and great granddaddy, and all of them might have done this, that and other, but it ain't touching me because if the Son has made me free, I am free indeed.
Speaker 3:So we get out here to the deep. I'm closing, tyler, you've gone too far into the deep. So we get out autumn, we get out here in the deep, like here I am. I'm where you told me to go. Go back one. Can you real quick, sorry, go back one. Go back one. Can you Real quick, sorry, go back one. Go back one. I'm out here. That's not the end.
Speaker 3:He also told you to do something else Let down your clean, sparkly clean, fresh, smelling straight up like tide. No pun intended, actually, pun completely and totally intended. We've already washed them. Anybody wash them still. Come on. Now you leave here and you go say wash them. They're going to look at you like you've got a third eye. He's alright, he's falling out in the spirit.
Speaker 3:It's going to take more than that to get that boy down. It's going to take more than that to get that boy down. Now that you're out here. You've got to let down your nets the whole time. You're sitting there thinking I've already done this, fish aren't even out here.
Speaker 3:But at your word, listen, let me. Let me. Let me say this religious people, listen to me. You don't got to like it to do it. You don't got to like it to do it. There's been times, christian, I've done it, kicking and screaming, but I did it. Sherry, did you ever not tell them? Because I love the meme I read this week that I grew up in the day where breathing loud was backtalk.
Speaker 3:Anybody know what I'm talking about huffing and puffing was backtalk. Jesus on the main line. Just tell him what you want. Huffing and puffing was back talking. I tell you what God bless her heart. Martha Lou could shout and clap and stomp and nail you right square in the mouth all at once. It was a talent of some sort, I don't know.
Speaker 3:Then I was standing there one Sunday morning, brother Jason, when a lady come to mom and said Sister Martha, I'm just afraid that if I discipline him in church he'll hate church. I said I'm sticking around for this. I was going out the door minding my own business, but when she cornered mom and said dad, I thought I got to stick around for this. Junior Hensley used to say you're too hard on him. Logan's great, great great-great-grandmother, sister Nell Ngo, was the first person other than my mother to ever spank me in church. It's because, sister Nell, I was just in. She wasn't seeking me out, serena, she was waiting like a rattlesnake. She was waiting on me to get just close enough.
Speaker 3:Let's just say, I finished the service sitting next to Sister Nelno and my mom walked out of the choir and took her seat like she didn't even see me, because she wasn't saying something to Sister Nell, because Sister Nell probably would have spanked her too. That's how it was and, like I said a while ago, your babies don't bother me. I'm so glad they're getting to see the presence of God. Now, of course you know we can't let it get out of hand or whatever, but you know, so glad they're getting to see the presence of God. Now, of course you know we can't let it get out of hand or whatever, but you know. But now we got to launch out into the deep after we've already ruled it out in our own intelligence. Savannah diagnosed me with COVID in 2020. She called me hated. That was back when it was like you had leprosy. Close your ears, brett.
Speaker 1:Now I'm like go to class.
Speaker 3:We're over it, only to come and find out one test said I did I don't remember which one that was and one test said I didn't. And that was back when I was asking permission, can I please, may I please? Cause I felt like the health department was going to say I don't know, can you? I felt like I need to say may I mother, may I please? Because I felt like the health department was going to say I don't know, can you? I felt like I need to say may I Mother, may I Please go back out there and let them test me again, only to find that the second round both tests were negative again. I don't know how that works, other than logic and medicine says one thing, but sometimes God says another thing. So I need to know today if there's anybody in the room that is so tired of the, as the old timers used to say, the same old six and seven. The same old rigmarole. Don't even know what that means, can't even spell it, but the same results. You're tired of getting the same results. You're ready for something supernatural to take hold of your life and to bring promises to pass that God has spoken into you. God has spoken things into you that nobody else knows but you and Him, and you're ready to see it. You know why you're not seeing it. You're splashing around in the kiddie pool. God's calling you to the diving board the high dive remember? Remember Lowell Pool? You just missed a chance to shout right there. Some of you Loyalites, some of us foreigners, come down there every once in a while and swim too, and I remember looking at that high dive, thinking ain't no way I'm good, right here in the two-foot water. I'm afraid, spiritually speaking, that's what some of us are doing. We're splashing around, we're just good with getting by.
Speaker 3:Anybody prayed this week? Anybody read your Bible this week other than what was read to you in the house of God? Folks, I'm going to tell you, I wake up thinking about him. I go to bed thinking about him. My whole day. I'm thinking about him because he has spoken some things into me that's going to come to pass the minute I decide to launch out into the deep and let down my net. Some of you today are holding your nets and you've got your pant legs rolled up. God says you might as well get over not getting wet, because I'm calling you to the deep To let down your net. Anybody here? Anybody here ready to launch out into the deep and let down your net? Come on, bub. Come on, my brother. Come on, sir. Come on, brother, come on, come on. This is the corporate church altar. You know what brother Mark said Wednesday the altar is where you meet with God and God meets with you. Anybody want to meet with God? Launch out into the deep, come on.
