CCOG audio live recording of Sunday Service 6-29-25 Finding the Book
Authentic revival follows a clear biblical pattern of return, repent, remove, and receive as demonstrated in King Josiah's time in 2 Kings 22-23. This powerful examination of scripture illuminates how true revival must begin with repairing the breaches in our spiritual lives before we can experience transformation.
• Revival requires first repairing the breaches and gaps in the house of God
• The enemy seeks to find holes in our theology and unity to create division
• True revival depends on "doers" who maintain and sustain ministry, not just talkers
• Authentic revival began when they found "the book" in the temple – God's Word
• Finding the Word isn't enough – we must read it, be convicted by it, and obey it
• Real revival produces repentance when we hear and apply God's Word
• King Josiah led a religious reformation, destroying idols and false worship
• Modern idolatry includes prioritizing wealth, status, and worldly success above God
• Revival manifests in practical ministry – feeding the hungry, clothing the naked
• Unity in the church frustrates the enemy's attempts to find breaches
• Revival requires more than emotional experiences; it demands obedience to Scripture
• True revival spreads beyond church walls into our communities
If you've not been born again, you need to make that decision today. Come to Jesus and let Him make you new – there is a book of life, and your name needs to be written in it.

Speaker 1:But I wouldn't be this far If it wasn't for God's grace. Saving His loving arms Is right where I've been my friend.
Speaker 3:Before I get into the Word of God Vacation Bible School July 7th through the 11th. We need workers. I'm about to the place where I've told Jake before don't ask for sign-ups, just come see me, I'll plug people where they need to be. Every spot's filled. That's a first Glory to God. Talk about coming out of a grave. Or maybe we just got new people who want to work for the Lord, amen. Or hungry people? You will never hear me say this again, but turn my monitor down just a little. I'm squealing Just a little. Praise the Lord.
Speaker 3:We've been talking about authentic revival and a lot of things that revival is not and a lot of things that revival is. But I want to take you to a particular place that I left off, because I told you the other day that every revival in the Old Testament displays the pattern of return, repent, remove and receive, and we need to take note of all that led up to a revival that took place during the reign of King Josiah in 2 Kings, chapters 22 and 23. In 2 Kings, chapters 22 and 23. You don't have to stand for the reading of the word, because I'm going to try to go through this real quickly. We're going to start in verse 4 of 2 Kings 22. And you're going to see the pattern of return repent, remove and receive. In verses 4, 5, and 6, the writer said go up to Hilkiah, the high priest, that he may sum the silver which is brought into the house of the Lord, which the keepers of the door have gathered of the people, and let them deliver it, the silver, into the hand of the doers of the work that have the oversight of the house of the Lord, and let them give it to the doers of the work which is in the house of the Lord, and let them give it to the doers of the work which is in the house of the Lord to repair the breaches of the house, and let them deliver it. And to the hand of the doers oh, I'm sorry, verse six unto carpenters and builders and masons, and to buy timber and hewn stone to repair the house.
Speaker 3:The first step in getting to the place of authentic revival, which is the step of return, is we must restore. There must be a restoration of the temple. There must be a restoration of the temple. There must be a restoration of the temple. At this time they were told to go to the high priest with this silver and go, take it into the house of the Lord, to the keepers of the door that have gathered the people together that would be like us and let them deliver into the hand of the doers of the work all of the silver so that the breaches in the house of the Lord may be repaired, amen. So the first thing we have to do in order to see authentic revival is to repair the holes and the gaps and the breaches that have been into the house of God. Now we've heard wonderful testimonies this morning about how God has delivered and set free and how God is continuing to deliver and set free, amen, and how this place amen. A hundred years ago, amen was set aside.
Speaker 3:Now let me tell you the difference in the saints of old and the saints of now. If we're not careful, we'll get so caught up in the here and now that we won't think about the future. Should the Lord tarry. You see those people, brother Steve, in 1926, they laid the foundation of this church, not for their own pleasure and not for their own entertainment, and not just so that they could have a place to come and worship. But it was established and it was built Because they had in their minds their sons and their daughters, their grandsons and their granddaughters, their great grandsons and their great granddaughters, so that they would have a place to call home.
Speaker 3:I'm thankful today that the Kaywood Church of God. Even if it is your first time stepping foot in this door, I want there to be a sense of home. In this place I feel the love of God. I'm not concerned about your shouting and your dancing and your goosebumps and your sweat. I want you to feel the love of God and the love of God's people so that when you leave you can say there's not a doubt in my mind, I found a place I can call home. Because the enemy wants to find the gaps and the holes, maybe, where we're lacking theologically.
Speaker 3:Let me tell you something, folks we give Pentecost and we give revival a bad name. Can everybody hear me? Can everybody hear me? We give it a bad name when the dancing and the shouting and the glorifying and the magnifying and the exaltation and the exaltation and all these things are when it ceases and when it stops and you're nowhere to be found, that's when the religious people will say see, I told you that wasn't revival, that was an emotional stirring. That was a stage and a platform. That was nothing more than showmanship and theatrics. Amen, amen.
Speaker 3:What I'm telling you is, as Sister Kaylee, where did she go, as she just preached to you? You can call it testifying all day long, amen. But as she just preached to you, amen, you need to get in the altar. She's speaking like a pro. She's speaking like her great granny was a 70-year member of this place. Amen, amen. Who helped paint the walls and who helped put out the pews, who helped teach Sunday school? Amen, speaking like a pro. If you won't help, you get in the altar and you stay in the altar until your help comes, until you're delivered. I'm not against your 12-step program, I'm not against whatever you go to in recovery, but I'll tell you this if you don't have Jesus, it cannot be done.
Speaker 3:You give revival a bad name when you're MIA, when the lights go off. You give revival a bad name when help for VBS is needed and you're nowhere to be found. We give revival a bad name when something better comes along. This isn't about your emotions, this is about your soul. Heaven or hell, you're going to one or the other. I was a preacher at six and they baptized me at seven. Yeah, but you've been living like the devil eight, nine, ten and eleven. That don't work that way, amen. You ain't got no business using by words and swear words and telling dirty jokes and sleeping with people and out here living like the world, drinking, smoking, doing crack coke. Amen, there ain't no place. You either in or you're either out. There's some gaps, there's some gaps and the enemy wants to expose the holes in our theology. You've been criticized for this revival. It's been said of you that you're on an emotional high. Wouldn't you love to prove every devil in hell completely, utterly and totally wrong? Amen. But we have to repair the breaches. So they went to King Hilkiah, the high priest, who had gathered all the people in the temple, and they gathered the silver and they gave the silver to the doers. You, either a doer or a non-doer. I was trying to think of something derogatory to call you, but I couldn't think of it right off the top of my head because I'm trying to make you so mad. You'll be a doer man. Give the silver to the doers, not the pulpiteers. Know what that is? People that only hang out in the pulpit. Give the silver to the doers. We should have already, since two Sundays ago, we should have already built two or three churches in Peru. And if you can't go, be a doer, then be a doer with your silver. Amen. Give the money to the doers, which keep the house of the Lord. You know why this place still stands? Not because of Sunday morning check offers. These doors are open because there's two or three doers. There's more than that, but that's all you need. There's two or three doers. That's why the church even stands, Because if the church depended on the non-doers, the doors would be locked, the lights would be off and the water wouldn't be running. Give the money to the doers because they keep, they work, they keep the house of the Lord. They're the ones who repair the breaches. They're the ones who repair the breaches. They're the ones who say, oh, there's a hole, I better go fill it. There's a vacancy, I better go absorb it. There's a problem? I better fast about Somebody. Get with me right there. There's a hole. I need to push my plate back so that that hole. I need to get in my word, so you got to know the word. If you don't read the word, you're creating the holes. Oh, there's a hole, I better pray, pray. I better pray Because our Sunday school lesson, job, god says to the devil have you considered him?
Speaker 3:And Job, and the devil says he serves you for naught. You've blessed him, you blessed him. That's why he serves you. You blessed him. You blessed him. That's why he serves you. You blessed him. Did you know? That's what people say about a lot of us. They're in revival because you're blessing them. Well, duh, the devil said remove the hedge and I'll show you the real character of Job. God says I'll remove the hedge. Come here, job, stand right there, job. All you boys on the front come and get around Job. This is Job. This is the hedge. God, help us, lord. What a hedge. Y'all ever met them police officers. And you're like man, if I was bad, I wish that one would get after me. I believe I could take him. You know what I'm talking about. Anyway, put your arms together, quit acting like you bashful.
Speaker 3:So, here's what. Here's what the devil does. Oh, okay, I see he serves you because you've blessed him. He serves you because you've got a hedge of protection around him. And then he starts negotiating with God and says remove the hedge and I'll show you what kind of man he is. God says okay, but there's one thing you can't harm him. You can take whatever you want to take, but you can't harm him. Amen. So the hedge is temporarily removed, you can go back to your seat and there stands Job and the devil I'm not going to get into it, but I'm talking about the hedge is the doers and the repairers of the breach.
Speaker 3:And when the doers and the repairers of the house have been removed, then it's one-on-one. And let me tell you, don't you dare bow up on the devil till you're ready to fight, because he won't just afflict your body, he'll put stuff in your mind. So he found a way. He found a way. He found a way. He found a way. 500 sheep, 500 camels, thousands of donkeys and thousands of oxen Gone. Seven sons, three daughters Gone. Everything that he owned Gone. Seven sons, three daughters gone, everything that he owned gone Because the repairer and the keeper of the house had been removed, thank you.
Speaker 3:That's what the enemy does here. He walks around trying to find. He listens to your conversations, conversations, and he reads your text messages. He can't read your mind Good good right, he, he, he. He can't read your thoughts, but he can hear your words. When you're bashing the church to somebody else, the devil heard that. When you're criticizing the pastor to somebody else with your big, long tongue, he hears that and he listens because he's trying to find a breach. He's trying to find a compromise, a way to get in between what god is doing. Do you know what's made the devil most mad? I have found sister carol in in this 30-some day revival we've had. You know what I found the devil get most mad about, brother Brad, I found that the enemy has got most mad because of the support and the unity in this room. Amen To the point.
Speaker 3:They're going to call us cult, people cult, c-u-l-t. This is what god gave me when I was 18. Christ unites lives together, c-u-l-t. Christ, call me a cult all day long. Christ unites lives together. Call us a cult. All that means is that Christ unites lives together.
Speaker 3:He doesn't want unity because he wants to find a breach, those of you on your job. He don't want unity in your cubicles because he wants to create a breach those of you in your home. He don't want unity in your home. He wants to find a hole and cause a problem. That's why he said be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, as a roaring lion, the devil, walks to and fro on this earth seeking whom he may devour. So if he hears you running your flap, then there's somebody I can devour, somebody I can devour. So there must first be a repair and a restoration of the temple. Number two, verses 8, 9, and 10. Look here.
Speaker 3:And Hilkiah, the high priest, said to Shaphan the scribe listen, listen, oh, this about made me shout. I have found the book in the house of the Lord. They went inside that abandoned house. They went inside that abandoned temple. They went inside that temple that had holes and breaches and gaps and they repaired it and they put it together. And guess what they found in the house? Guess what they found in the temple. Amen, safe in the stripes. And I found the book.
Speaker 3:Better than a million dollars this will get you through every trial, every storm, every temptation. I found the book. Has anybody found the book? I said has anybody found the book? If you not found the book, you better found the book. I said has anybody found the book? If you not found the book, you better find the book. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan and said read it, read it. Go home today, look in the mirror and say to yourself read it.
Speaker 3:You know why some people don't read it Because they know, sister Jessie, that the words in that book are going to jump off them pages and convict your heart of every lying, thieving, stealing, sexing, sin. And it will reveal. It will reveal, it will open your eyes to the hatred, the animosity, the jealousy, the envy. It will reveal. It will reveal of the wrong doing, of the wrong decisions, of the wrong thoughts and the wrong fear. It will reveal you know why people close the book. It'll reveal, it'll expose oh, what a wretched man I am. I found the book. It don't do you no good to find it. I've seen them Bible thumping, bible toting, bible carrying, put it under their arm like they somebody Because they found the book. But when the first storm blows in, they're defeated with the book under their arm. You know why? Because the book stays under their arm.
Speaker 3:After he found it, he said read it, read it, read it Verse 9. And Shaphan the scribe came to the king and brought the king word again and said Thy servants have gathered the money that was found in the house. They delivered it into the hand of them, the doers Verse 10. Hallelujah, the keepers of the house. And safe hand. The scribes showed the king, saying Hilkiah, the priest hath delivered me a book, and safe hand, read it to the king. You want to have revival. You gotta preach the word. The discovery of the word brought obedience to the word. Listen to me, I love. I don't know if I've told you lately how much I love you and how much I love you and how much that God has strategically placed every one of you in this house for such a time as this. You are not here by accident. You are not here by accident. You are not here by happenstance, sister, jesse, me and Sheila. I got to talk to Sheila yesterday, your niece, and we got to talking about the Lord, and she said I hear Jesse's coming to church again and I'm so glad we about had church right there. And, man, you know why the church needs these saints that have been there and done that. Amen, the church needs mom hugs, man, when your mom's been taken to heaven. Amen, the church needs that.
Speaker 3:We gotta preach the word. Read the word. Know the word. Eat the word Che. Preach the word. Read the word. Know the word. Eat the word. Chew the word. Drink the word. Regurgitate the word. Eat it again, swallow it again.
Speaker 3:You got to have the word, you got to have the word. You can't just get the word. On Sunday morning and Wednesday night, you got to have the word. We got to get hungry and thirsty. I can't understand it. Pray and ask God to open your understanding. So, after they repaired the temple, they found the book and they read the book and they started obeying the book. Oh, you can't just find it and you can't just read it. You got to obey it. You got to do what it says. Amen, I'm hurrying. I what he says Amen, I'm hurrying, I'm hurrying.
Speaker 3:Next, upon hearing the word and obeying the word, the king repented. The word will force you to repent. Repent, verse 11. And it came to pass when the king my God, when the king had heard the words of the book of the law. He ran his clothes. Old Testament. That was a sign of repentance. He repented. Ain't going to do you no good to shout. If you don't repent, repent, you ain't going to learn the Sunday school lesson. If you ain't at Sunday school, you can't. You don't have the right to declare this tithing and offering declaration. If you don't give jobs and better jobs, they ain't yours, well, they are mine. Look what? Yeah, well, you'll get your just reward. My foot was about to slip when I beheld the prosperity of the wicked. It's in the book of Psalms, and later on it says then I went to the house of the Lord and I prayed and I repented and God showed me. Their pat on the back is here and here only Because there's a reckoning day coming for every person in this room and we will get our just rewards. Listen Next, verses 1, 2, and 3 of 2 Kings 23.
Speaker 3:Guess what happened after the king repented and the king sent, and they gathered unto him all the elders of Judah and of Jerusalem. Two Verse and the king went up into the house of the Lord and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests and the prophets and all the people. My God, there you go, the priests, the prophets and the people. Everybody came together in the house of God, and all the people, both small and great, and he read it in their ears the word of the book of the covenant, which was found in the house of the Lord. We're not coming here for entertainment, we're not coming here for show. We're gathering together to hear the word of the Lord out of the book that was found in his house. Man, I wish people could get excited about the preaching of the word.
Speaker 3:And the king that just repented Boys, I ain't sweat like this in years. Lounge days, baby. And the king I like it when they say you don't have to sweat. I've had preachers tell me that why do you sweat? I'm like, why don't you? It ain't all in a sweat. And the king it ain't all in a sweat.
Speaker 3:And the king stood by the pillar and made a covenant before the Lord to walk after the Lord. Talking about a king that wasn't saved until he heard the words from the book. He made a covenant that I'm going to walk with the Lord. I'm going to keep His commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all of they all got together and said we're all going to do it with all of our heart, all of our soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant. They said we're not going to cave, we're not caving to drugs. We're not caving to drugs, we're not caving to promiscuity, we're not caving to the ways of this world. You know how you don't cave. Does anybody want to know? One person wants to know how you don't cave to this world. You know how you don't cave to this world.
Speaker 3:You continually read the words from the book that was found in the house of the Lord. When I see you getting down in the dumps and oh, woe is me and poor, pitiful me. You know what that tells me. You ain't been in the book, you ain't been in the book and you ain't been on your knees. You need to go back to your knees and open the book. You want somebody to give you a word, you want somebody to give you an encouragement, you want somebody to help you. And I'm not saying we shouldn't give a word and I'm not saying we shouldn't give encouragement, and I'm going to tell you right now, if God gives me a prophetic word to come to you and tell I'm going to beeline it to you as fast as I can. If it helps you, it helps you, amen. I just want to. I just want to be obedient to the Lord. But I'll tell you this you want to know how to keep yourself in line.
Speaker 3:The Bible says David encouraged himself in the Lord, his God. You know how David did that. He stayed in the book and he stayed on his knees. That's how you do it. David's city was burned to the ground, his wife and his kids were kidnapped and his servants turned their backs on him in one day. That sounds like a bad year. This was one day. That sounds like a bad year. This was one day. And the Bible immediately says Sister Tabitha and David encouraged himself in the Lord, his God. He didn't call 1-800-PROPHESY to me.
Speaker 3:I went to Sister So-and-So's house hoping to get a prophecy. Well, I mean, that's okay, it's fine, but you could have skipped two steps and gotten the book yourself. You're wasting time driving to her house. Get in the book. So after the king repented, the priests, the prophets and the people, they repented. I wish you'd hurry, preacher. Well, lucky for you. I'm not going to read 4 through 20, but I'm going to summarize 4 through 20. Play Singers, hold off for just a minute. I'll tell you when to come, but go ahead and play. I'm going to summarize verses 4 through 20 in about that big of a paragraph that I jotted down for you.
Speaker 3:King Josiah, the one that just repented, undertakes a sweep God. I don't know if I can get it out. He undertakes a sweeping religious reformation in Judah. He takes on head on Brother Archie, head on. He fights religion head on. Read it. He rolls up his sleeves and he puts on his spiritual boxing gloves and he's getting ready to punch religion right in the nose. He leads the charge of a religious reformation, a cleansing, if you will. Can I be more specific? I can. He destroys idolatrous altars. I can. He destroys idolatrous altars. He purges Judah and Israel. You may not know what that means. Josiah, king Josiah commands the destruction of high places, altars and idols throughout Judah and even extends the purge into the former territory of the northern kingdom of Israel. In other words, it is time that we chuck everything that does not lend itself to the worship of Almighty God. We need to throw it out the door. We need to throw it out and get rid of it if it doesn't uplift the mighty name of Jesus.
Speaker 3:It's time we tear down altars, tear down idols. I don't want I don't want this just to get caught up in here, brother Tim, I want this to bleed out our doors. When they feed people on Monday, we still do that, right. What are we eating tomorrow? You know yet 80 people last Monday at this location. What did they eat? Do you remember Barbecue sandwiches? I hope that it was the most anointed barbecue sandwich they ever put in their mouth. And I hope, I hope we're still doing the blessing box across the street. I hope we're still fulfilling our commitment to the day that we committed to doing.
Speaker 3:Well, I can't commit, you can commit to the hair appointment. Can't commit, you can commit to the hair appointment. You can commit to the nail appointment. Nobody I can commit to the vendor's mouth. Guess who I ran into yesterday at Pickers Paradise. Brother James was sitting on a bench. When I heard the name Pickers Paradise, I'm like, take me there. I went in one little booth and I thought people, it's almost like my mamaw. They brought her living room to this little booth. I'm like can I just hang out here?
Speaker 1:a minute.
Speaker 3:We can commit to those appointments, can we commit one day to feeding the hungry? Now we have at least one family, sometimes more than one per day, right, two per day. You know what?
Speaker 2:There's enough hungry people, just in Kaywood that if 10 people per day would commit to putting food in that box.
Speaker 3:Well, I don't want to drive all the way. You ain't hungry, are you? That's why you don't want to drive all the way to Kaywood, because you ain't hungry. You got food in your cupboard, you got food in your refrigerator. That's why you don't want to drive all the way to K-Wood, because you ain't hungry. You got food in your cupboard, you got food in your refrigerator. That's why you don't want to drive all the way to K-Wood.
Speaker 3:Well, I'll hit a blessing box up somewhere. I mean, go ahead, but you've been called to this place. Well, I'll just hit and miss. Do your meals hit and miss? Do you eat when you hit and miss? No meals hit and miss. Do you eat when you've hit and miss?
Speaker 3:No, we need to commit to putting and let me go ahead and give you a little little bit of advice, and I'm going to finish this message. You ain't got nowhere to be. If you don't get ravioli, get the pop top, because if they don't have food, they probably don't have a can opener either. You want to get ravioli? Get the pop top, because if they don't have food, they probably don't have a can opener either, and put a little fork in there with it. I'm going to tell you something. You know why we're in revival? Because the keepers of the house have been putting food in the box. Because the keepers of the house, this team that went thousands of miles away from here to minister, to people and I know Sister Tammy Jean's heard it Well why don't you minister to the people in your own community?
Speaker 3:We do, we do you minister in Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria and to the uttermost parts of the earth. That's where you are called to minister. We're in revival because we feed the hungry, we clothe the naked, we keep water running and, some people, their electricity going. That's what you do as a church, as a body. That's what you do. That's why we're in revival. Every Monday there's a hot meal on this piece of property and apparently 80 people come and got in on the goods last Monday and you know what that's going to result in eventually Souls being saved. And that's what I'm about. You know what you want to shout. Let's get something to shout about. How do I shout Get soul saved. Baby, you get a soul saved. I'll shout the house because somebody has lost another one. I am free, I am free. I am free. I am free In psychology.
Speaker 3:I ain't going to get through it, sorry, come back, come back, come back. In psychology, there is a teaching that's called stimulus, reaction, stimulus, reaction. Google it, ai, it'll tell you. Stimulus refers to anything that triggers a response or a reaction in an organism, while response is the organism's reaction to the stimulus. Let me give that to you in K-Wood terms.
Speaker 3:I had a brother tell me one time, brother Brock. He said years ago he was going to a revival service with a preacher and he said he was going to play the music and to sing and the guy driving was going to preach. And he said, on the way the preacher said to me now, brother, here's how we're going to preach. And he said, on the way the preacher said to me now, brother, here's how we're going to do this. He said when I get to this certain spot in my sermon. He said I want you to do that Pentecostal role. He said what I'm going to do is, he said I'm going to do is. He said I'm going to turn about three circles and I want you just take off playing. And he said watch what happens to that place. And he said I was sitting over there thinking, dear God, what have I got myself into?
Speaker 3:Stimulus causes you to respond. And he said I don't know what else to do. He said so I played along. He said for one because I was intrigued. I wanted to see what happened. He said he got to that part of his message and he said I started this. And he said he started turning. And he said he started turning circles. And he said at his command. On the third turn, he said I just started playing, playing, playing. He said that whole building come unglued. That's called responding to stimulus. I'm not trying to stimulate you. I'm not trying to stimulate you.
Speaker 3:I would to God that the Holy Ghost would shake us one more time to our very core. Amen that we rejoice just because our names are written in the book of life. Nope, I'm finishing it. About done, about, done, about, done, about, done, about done.
Speaker 3:Then there was the desecration of Topheth Josiah defies Topheth in the valley of Hinnom. You know what happened in the valley of Hinnom. That's where child sacrifice had been practiced. You know what brings authentic revival? Number one, when we chuck altars and idols that do not bring glory to God. Number two, when we stand against child sacrifice.
Speaker 3:Abortion is the murder of human life. Now you may be sitting here today and maybe you've had an abortion, if you've been forgiven. I got good news for you you are forgiven and your name is in the book of life and that's no longer held against you in the eyes of heaven. But as Christians, we must stand against child sacrifice. That brings authentic revival. The next thing they did was the destruction of idolatrous objects. Josiah removes objects dedicated to Baal and Asherah and the host of heaven, likely astrology deities, from the temple and has them burned outside Jerusalem, specifically in the Kidron Valley. Modern day Baal worship refers to the metaphorical concept of prioritizing material wealth, material power and worldly success above everything. I don't care how much money you have, I don't care what your title is. If you don't have Jesus, you don't have anything.
Speaker 1:We must have the Spirit of the Lord abiding in our lives.
Speaker 3:Bethel's altar. Josiah destroys the altar at Bethel, fulfilling a prophecy. It was a significant religious site established by Jeroboam and fulfills the prophecy by burning bones on it. King Josiah burned human bones on the altar at Bethel to desecrate it and to fulfill the prophecy. This act was part of Josiah's broader religious reform aimed at purging the land of idolatry and enforcing the worship of God and God alone. Stop worshiping your car, stop worshiping your money, stop worshiping your spouse, stop worshiping your home, stop worshiping your children, stop worshiping ministry and worship God and God alone. That brings revival. Oh, josiah's actions Are driven by his desire To obey the newly Discovered book and to restore worship to the Lord. Authentic revival. You ready the book and the worship the book and the worship.
Speaker 3:The book and the worship, the book and the worship. I'm going to defy every devil in hell and tell you that I'm coming back Tuesday night at 6.30. Wednesday night at 6.30. Wednesday night at 6.30. You fool with me. We'll come back Thursday night at 6.30. Because the enemy wants us to draw this to a conclusion and, from what I feel in my heart and in my spirit right now, we might just be getting started. So, for the doers and the keepers of the house, I'll see you on Tuesday Because I found a book.
Speaker 3:I found a book and I read the book and I repented when I read a book. I found a book and I read the book and I repented when I read the book. And I started 30 years ago. I started telling everybody about the book and they repented when they heard the book. And I've asked the Lord for 30 years if I don't accomplish anything else as long as I breathe air, oh God, make me a soul winner. Make me a soul winner If I don't accomplish anything, if I don't make a dollar, if I don't have two pennies to rub together, oh God, make me a soul winner. Help me to tell people there is a hell. There is a hell and people are going there. If you've not been born again, you're going to hell. If you've not been saved, you're going to hell. If your name's not in the book of life, you're going to hell. There is a hell to shun, and you can shun it today stand we found the book Today Stand.
Speaker 3:We found the book. We found the book. We found the book. We found the book. We found the book. You know what's in the book. Life is in the book. You know what's in the book. Life is in the book. Power is in the book. Faith is in the book. It's in the book. You know what's in the book John, chapter 3, verse 3. Verily verily, I say unto you, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of heaven. That's in the book. There's life in the book.
Speaker 3:You're here today. You're here today. You're here today. You've been wrestling. You've been like Jacob. You've been wrestling with the Lord all night long. You've been wrestling, you've been fighting, you've been warring. I'm calling the sinner and the backslider to come to the altar. Let Jesus make you new, with every head bowed and every eye closed. I don't. There ain't nobody. That's bad grammar, but that's awesome theology there ain't nobody nobody.
Speaker 1:That's bad grammar, but that's awesome theology. I see on the horizon a storm headed my way, dark clouds all around me. I can't see the light of day, but I know that God is with me To keep me safe from harm and I won't have to face the storm alone. I won't have to face the storm alone, with Jesus here beside me. Somehow I'll make it home. If I had to make it by myself, how could I carry on? But I won't have to face the storm alone. Won't have to face the storm alone. This won't be the last storm that I'll ever face.
