SPEAKER_02:Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. It's as usual awesome to be back in the studio talking about the word of God. I kind of have a little bit of scratchy throat today and just not feeling my best, so please say a prayer and bear with me. Today I want to talk to you about. I'm in Revelation verse 20. And I'm going to go over a little bit in verse 12. And verse 12, and the Bible says, And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God, and the books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of life. So this book of life, people, is what I want to talk to you about today. The Lamb's Book of Life. And this book of life is God's record of all those people over the centuries who have trusted Christ and has followed him as Lord. Now, this unique book wasn't made by human hands, it exists in the heavenly realm, which I honestly totally believe someday we will see this book and more. And and it belongs to Jesus Christ, and it's called the Lamb's Book of Life. Um Revelation 20, 12 through 15 is where I'm talking about the books. And to have one's name written in this book means that that we're considered righteous before God and we will inherit eternal life, provided we remain faithful to the end, right? Now the first mention of this book of life is when Moses offered to have his name erased from it, right? So so speaking to God over and over in Exodus, Moses said, Oh, these people have committed a great sin and have made a golden calf. And Moses said, Yet now, if you will forgive their sin, but if not, I pray, blot my name, my blot me out of your book, which you have written. Exodus thirty-two, thirty-one and thirty two. And and God replied to Moses, Whosoever has sinned against me, I will blot him out of my book. So so we see when we talking about, we look at Moses here, he had really good intentions, very, very noble, trying to protect the Israelites from God's wrath. You know, they they were the one who you know had made this golden calf and was and was, you know, uh worshiping other gods and stuff. Uh, but you know, people, God does not negotiate people's salvation like that. That's not how he works. Now, talking about the books, many of the books are mentioned in the Bible. There's the books of the covenant, there's the book of law, the book of Kings, the book of records, the book of remembrance, the book of the Lord, and so on and so on. But of all the books to be opened before God that day, the Lamb's book of life is the most important one. And if you have given your life to Christ, if you are following Christ and you have given your heart to Jesus Christ, your name is already written in that book. And Jesus promised us that if you belong to Him, that nothing will ever be able to remove you from that book. He promised us that in Revelation 3. And this is a promise that should be written on the heart of every single believer because he made that promise to us, right? And friends, I'm telling you, of all of those, only those names who are written in that Lamb's book of life is granted eternal life. If your name is not in the pages of that book, you will not get in. If you have not trusted, uh have you if you've not turned to God and Christ in repentance and faith, if you have rejected him as your Lord and Savior, you will not be, your name's not going to be found there. Your name will not be there, and you will not have a hope of heaven. So this one question that uh that everybody has to ask and answer themselves over and over again in this life is Is my name written in the Lamb's book of life? Now, the book of life was written by God Himself. And and it was written in eternity before time and creation. It it contains the names of all those who've who God chose to receive eternal life. Everyone listed in that book of life is going to be saved. And the Bible tells us to enter heaven after we die, the Bible tells us we have to have our names written in that book of life. We have to have our names there, people. And Revelation 20 and 15 says, on down there, it says, And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20 and 10 says, and shall be shall be tormented day and night, forever and ever. So you see, friends, the scripture clearly tells us that hell is real. It tells us about this place of torment, and it's going to be uh our eternal home for those people that who has not got their name in the book of life. If your name is not there, you will be lost. And my friends, I'm telling you today, it's not uh it's not too late. Right now is the time to acknowledge your sins before God and accept him as your Lord and Savior. And don't turn him away. Pray to him, ask your forgiveness of your sins. Believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. Believe on your heart that he arose after three days. Believe, believe, and believe, please, that he is coming back again someday. And he invites you, he invites you to come to him. Revelation 3 20, he says, Behold, I stand at the door and knock, and if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come into him and sup with him, and he with me. And see, God desires that every single person, all people, receive his free gift of salvation. Hell was not created for us. We he had no intentions for us going to hell. But see, it's up to us, you and I, to make this choice. God gives each and every person a lifetime. We have a whole lifetime to accept his son Jesus. And we have to do this before our own physical death, people. Because beyond that, there is no more opportunities. No more. And whether we spend eternity in heaven or hell is up to us. And I know you've probably heard me go on and on and on on this program about that for quite a bit. And people, that's because time is winding up. Jesus Christ is coming back someday. He's going to step out on them clouds, he's going to open up that sky, he's going to come down here, and we all will stand before him in judgment. And if I can just get one person to say, okay, man, I believe you and give their life to God, it is worth it. I'm going to say it over and over and over. My friends, I'm telling you here today, God has done everything that he can possibly do to keep us out of hell. Everything he could do. He even gave his son to die on the cross to keep us out of hell. And the rest is up to us. And all we have to do is confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, Romans 10, 9, says we will be saved. See, just believing that Jesus exists will not get you salvation. Just believing, everybody believes in Jesus. I would say more than likely, even people that don't believe in him actually have heard of him and know him and and maybe not believe totally in him, but they know him, they've heard of him. I'm sure they probably even think of him time to time. Everybody, everybody just believing to in Jesus Christ won't get you salvation. You had to repent of your sins. And you have to turn away from all sin and then follow the teachings of God's word. And your name will be added to that book. See, the word of God tells us and it warns us if anybody's name is not found written in the book of life, we were thrown in the lake of fire. Revelations 20, 15. And see, for those names that are written in the book of life, people, there's eternal security and the promise of salvation, even amidst all of life's challenges. He promises us salvation. And all we have to do is call upon his name. Friends, today, there are many, many people. Now check this out. There's many, many people today that does all kinds of things, special things to get their names in record books, right? They they perform many amazing things. They'll they'll jump rope for two or three hours or ten hours or twenty hours. They'll uh they do things in sports, the medical field, and education. They they do all kinds of things. They'll sit and and throw balls and juggle balls over their heads for hours and hours at a time just to get their names in record books. I'm telling you, people, those accomplishments are good. I uh uh that's good if you can stand and juggle a ball for for 30 hours over your head, that's good. But I'm telling you right now, there is another book not found on earth, only in heaven. And my brothers and sisters, that is the only book worth having our name in. That's the only book. The book of life is the only book that we should be striving uh to have our name in. And and how do we get our name in there? You know, a lot of people think, you know, well, how do I get my name there? And some people think that just going to church it grants them eternity. Nope. Some people think that just going to church and singing will get you there. Nope. Or just serving a church, that won't do it. Uh, what position you serve in, where you go and what you do, the number of services you go through, nope, none of that is going to do it, people. All the prayers in this world that you throw up to heaven for any and all people will not get you to heaven. The only way to get your name in the book of life is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. And believe in your heart that he came back after three days and live your life according to his words and give up the world. And ask ask yourself this. You know, what have you ask yourself, what have you got to lose? What what have you got to lose to just try to give your life to Jesus and live for him and work for him? And and I'm gonna tell you what you got to lose, people, you got hell to lose. That's what you got to lose. And here the thing about it is, friends, is how sad it's gonna be that many people are gonna stand before the Lord only to hear him say, Depart from me. Your name's not here, depart from me. And how sad is it gonna be that people are gonna uh to attend church for years, many, many years, uh, and then and they're gonna die and they're gonna go to hell because they did not make sure their name was in that book of life. My friends, I'm telling you today, please do not fool yourself. You need to make sure, you need to make very, very sure that your name is in that book. You know? And let me tell you some benefits to having your name in that book of life. Citizenship in heaven. Can you imagine that? Streets of gold, tree of life. Can you imagine it? Seeing the Father, seeing the Father face to face, eternal rest and glory, no more sickness, no more death, no more sorrow, no more pain, no more suffering. People being united with loved ones who made sure their name was in that book. And the biggest thing is never-ending praise and worship around the throne of God. Can you imagine that? You know, you can put your name, you know, a lot of people like their name to be up in lights and and and on pages and and on books, and you can put your name on any church register. You can put your name on a baptism page, on a confirmation pages, wedding registries, wherever. But brothers and sisters, I'm telling you right now, when you stand at that throne of judgment and your name written on that book of life, you will be thrown in the lake of fire to be tormented day and night forever and ever. No way out, no do-overs. You will stand before him. You will stand before him. You know, Jesus tells his disciples in Luke 10 uh not to rejoice that they have spiritual powers. He tells them to rejoice that your names are written in heaven. And that's what each and every one of us ought to do today and every day is rejoice that our name is in that book of life, that we have the opportunity to put ourselves to Christ, to give ourselves to Christ, and he added our name in heaven. Now, all those spiritual powers is awesome, you know. Uh spiritual things that that gifts that God's given us are awesome. But I'm telling you what, people, having my name on God's registry in heaven is far far far by far the most amazing thing ever. Because when God writes our name on his book of life, there is everlasting consequences. And I'm telling you, as as followers, as Christians, as believers and followers of Jesus Christ, we need to make certain that our names is written on God's pre-approved list, people, today. You know? Because trust me, Scripture is very, very clear that we will stand before Him one day in judgment. Hebrews 9 and 27, 2 Corinthians 5 and 10. And when that day comes, and that day is coming, you need to ask yourself, Will will you find my name? Is your name gonna be found there? Ask yourself this. And if you don't think your name's gonna be found there, you can change that today, my friends. You can change that today. And brothers and sisters, the Bible is saying today, he's telling us today, that if we are going to have eternal life in heaven, our names must be in the book of life. Because we all, each and every one of us, has a case pending in God's court. And again, I say we will stand in judgment. And if we have made that decision to believe in Jesus and follow Jesus Christ, then our name is in that book of life. And when we go to that judgment, our eternal life will begin. Our eternal life in heaven will begin. And right now, today, Jesus Christ wants you to know he is coming again. And he wants to make you ready. And you need to come to Jesus today, and he will put your name in the book of life, he will save your soul, and he will make you ready for heaven, he'll make you ready for that judgment. And when they pop that book open up there, because there's going to be a lot of books behind open according to the book of Revelation in front of God. A lot of them. Friends, I'm telling you now, the Lord is coming. This old world is this old world is is is worn out and it's winding down. And you need to get your name in the Lamb's book of life. And it's up to you. It's up to you this very day. Today is the day of salvation. Today is the day to get yourself ready and make sure your name is in that book of life, to get down on your knees or sit down somewhere and talk to Jesus Christ, talk to the Lord and tell the Lord, ask him to forgive you of all of your sins, ask him to come into your heart and be your personal Savior, ask him to make you whiter than snow, and then open that Bible and get in and live according to his words. You have hell to lose. That's what you got to lose. Said that before. Your name has to be in the book of life. And when he opens that book and you stand before him, and your name is not in that book, you will be thrown into the lake of fire. My friends, please. You you're running out of opportunities and you're not gonna have no excuses. You're not gonna be able to stand before him and say, Well, nobody told me this, and I didn't realize that, or I didn't know that, or I haven't read that, and there's not gonna not gonna be no excuses. There's not gonna be no excuses, people. You better have your name in that book. Because once you draw your last breath, or he he splits those eastern skies, your opportunities are over. There will be no more, no more. Can I have a second time chance or no more? Can I have a redo? There's not gonna be no more second chances. He's given you a whole lifetime, he's given you ample warning in his word, the the signs of times around us, every single day we see something going on that we know that's letting us know time is winding up. And I may sound like I'm mad, I may sound like I'm begging. If that's what it I gotta sound like, then okay, I'll sound like it. You know? I'm trying to save you from hell. I'm trying to save you. I'm trying to get the word out that'll let you know Jesus Christ is coming. And one of these days when he splits those eastern skies, and you're gonna look up and you're gonna see tears of joy on a Christian's face. And you're gonna see the sinners cry. He's coming. Please, please make sure your name is in that book of life. Read Rome, uh, read just just all you have to do, believe in your heart. Believe in your heart that Jesus Christ came and he gave his life on the cross. For you, for me, he took our cross, our sins to Calvary. And he is coming back again. Someday, he's coming back again. And I can't I can't tell you that enough. I can't scream and holler that enough. We need to open up our eyes and our ears. Somebody needs to hear this today. He is coming back again. And whether you draw your last bet breath and meet him in death, or whether you wait and he opens up the skies and comes, he will come again and you will stand before him in judgment. And when they open them books, your name better be there. That's all I got on this. I hope and pray that I said something today to open up your your ears and your eyes and your heart to understand that you need to get on the ball. Yesterday is too late. You need to start today, right now, this minute. Today is the day of salvation, people. I hope this has blessed you as much as it's blessed me to bring it to you. I hope and pray that I've said something uh that can open up your mind and your heart. Anyway, I'm gonna close this with a prayer. Our Father God in heaven, I ask you, Lord, to let these words ring in everybody's ears. Let it ring loud and clear. Let them understand and open up their heart and their ears and their mind to understand that you are coming back again. To understand that they have a chance right now to open up their hearts and give their hearts to you, Lord, and to make sure their names is in that book of life. Let these people understand that. Let these people realize, Lord, that it's that it's up to them that the last word is theirs, Lord, right now. Because your last word is coming, your judgment is coming. Let these people see that and understand it. I thank you, Lord, for this message and these words, Lord. I thank you, Lord, that we was able to get out here today and get this out and get let these people understand this and let them hear the words that need to be heard. And just let it go, Lord, to the people that need to hear it. We praise you, we honor you, and we love you today, Lord, and we thank you for everything. And I ask these in all things in Jesus' holy sweet name. We pray. Amen and amen. God bless everybody.
