You Are Not Worthless, You Are Worthy

You can feel it when someone is back where they belong, behind the mic with a message they can’t keep to themselves. I’m JD, and Stewardship is my weekly space to preach the Word of God, share what the Lord has done in my life, and invite you to step into what God is building in yours. Welcome And Stewardship Mission

Praise the Lord, glory to God. This is your host, JD, of the 421 Show. This program is called Stewardship for all the new listeners and old listeners. It's a new program that I've started up, and it's going to be a weekly thing that I'm going to try to do. And I guess not try, I am going to do it. And so I'm going to kick it off. And my best is I'm going to at least have try to have one guest on here preaching the word of God. Like I said in the uh the intro, if it be man or a woman, you know, if you got a burning word of God down deep in your heart and you've you've just got to share it. You know, I'm reaching out to the brothers and I'm reaching out to the sisters. You know, I, you know, the the Bible does say, you know, the word of God will be preached into the whole world. And that is my goal in life. You know, is uh, you know, when I first realized, you know, when I started up this podcast was uh John the Baptist, you know, we all have that spirit of John the Baptist in us. You know, we're preaching the coming, the second coming of our King and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And I thank God for it. And it has been a hot minute since I have done this and I've been behind the mic and done this by myself. I'm in the studio by myself. And uh so um I do desire prayers. I thank God for everything. Uh I thank God for supplying all of my needs to his riches and to his glory. And uh, you know, if it wasn't for God, you know, folks, I I couldn't do what I do, and uh I I wouldn't be alive. You've heard my testimony in the past, I've shared it, you know, I've opened up about a few other things, you know, God has done for me and still, you know, more of my testimony. And you know, we've all got this deep, deep testimony with God, and you know, and and I I encourage you if you're a listener and you you know you're wanting wanting to share a testimony, you know. I do have a program that you know it allows you to you know openly share what God has done for you, where he's brought you from and where he's taken you. And you know, and like I said, it is my goal to preach the entire word of God to the whole world. You know, my my is you know, it's the love of God, and uh that's my goal. And uh, you know, I'm I just thank God. I I really do. And I thank God for the listeners, I thank for the people that support the show uh physically and um spiritually. I thank God for the church supporting me. Uh, you know, it's a shout-out to the Kwood Church of God. Uh I thank you much for your love and your support. Praying For Others To Feel Love

I've been I changed up my prayer life, you know, and and I've been praying instead of you know praying pacifically for this need or that needs, you know. See, God knows all of my needs. And and there is sometimes I do reach out and and I I tell God, you know, what I'm praying about, you know, and specifically get into detail. But you know, I pray for my family and the friends and the people I work with, you know, and I and I pray to them and I say, Lord, just show them the love of you've showed me. And do you know what the love of God is? The love of God is healing, it's deliverance, it's it's breaking those chains, it's setting the captive free, it's you know, giving sight to the blind and to the dumb. You know, it it love is the reason why it's the ultimate commandment. It's number one. Because love is what brought Christ to the cross and and gave us salvation. And, you know, I I earnestly, if you're not saved and you're you don't know Christ, I pray that you reach out to him and I promise you the love of Christ will enter into you, and you'll never be the same again. You know, just give him a chance. That's that's all I ask. And uh, you know, he died for you, and he, you know, and that's what the whole sacrifice on the cross was about. It was about you, and it's about me, and it's about everybody. You know, it's it's about God's love, and and that's that's what the whole Bible is. It's the it's the book of love. It's it's to direct us in a path that we should we should follow. You know, I got I asked the Lord, you know, I said, Lord, what do you want me to talk about today? You know, like I said, it's been it's been a minute since I've done this, and it it takes a little bit to get back in the swing again, uh, swing of things, and and I pray that you bear with me. You know, uh, you know, I I might shoot out and go left field and you know tell you a little something, what God has been doing to me since the last time I've been on the air. And He

Humility Over Pride And Secrecy

has done a lot. He's He's took me on a journey of humility. And it was just here recently, just a few days ago, that I experienced more humility and what humility is. And, you know, it it you know, I I got preached on in in the church, you know, talking about, you know, pride, and you know, we're not the only one that goes through anything, and we we we try to hide what we go through, you know, like I I'm perfect, or you know, I don't go through a lot, or I'm strong, or you know, I'm not weak, and it and and it's not the truth, you know. And the preacher got up and he, you know, he's pretty much in a nutshell. He says, Stop hiding. He says, uh, there's a lot wrong with you. You know, there's a lot that you're dealing with. It don't matter what it is, but there's there's, you know, stop allowing that prideful spirit, you know, to say, hey, I need prayer, I need help, I need healing, I need deliverance, I I need, I've got some heavy baggage, you know. And and I've you've heard me talk about it in the past, about Lazarus when he was brought from the tomb. You know, God delivered Lazarus out of the grave, you know, literally healed him of death. He brought him back to life. And the only thing that he required are the people standing around, he says, loose them of the great grave clothes. And see, and that's what our brothers and sisters are for in the church is to help us release these baggages that we pack on us. And, you know, and through this journey, you know, that's that's one commandment God tells us to do, but through this journey, God has taught me humility. He's taught me, through humility, he's taught me who I am in Christ. You know, there is a time that I have felt unworthy, and days that not able to function. Even my walk with the Lord, I feel the same. I feel the same. And it was hard, folks, you know, because you're like, oh, you're battling with yourself, you're battling with your spirit, you're like, oh Lord, please let me hear your voice, you know, and thank God his sheep know his voice, thank God that, you know, I do. You know, this path that the Lord has set me on, and has, like I said, it's been a humbling, very, very humbling walk. And on this walk with God, I've learned so much about myself, both good and both bad. Walking

Anxiety, Worth, And Slow Restoration

with God is like walking out on a porch in the dark. Just imagine yourself. You look straight up into the sky, and you see few stars, or you see no stars, and all of a sudden you'll see one star. And then all of a sudden the clouds start to move in, you start to see this star, and you start to see it, and all of a sudden the clouds dissipate and they're gone, and you you see the moon and the stars. You know, and that's that's what it's that's what the walk with God is like, and that's what he's been doing with me in my life. The closer I get with God, the more heaven opens up, and I see the stars in heaven. You know, I see the moon and I see beyond the stars. You'll have to excuse my uh I just got over a bad allergy infection, and and so if I sound really nasal, I do apologize, but you know, it is what it is. You know, the show must go on, but I do thank God for opening those doors. And like I said, when you look up, you see all those stars, and you're just like, thank you, Lord. You know, God starts opening the windows of heaven to you, and he starts to show you who he is the closer you get to him. And I thank God for it. And you know, one of my biggest prayers is that the seeds of God that he has planted in my life fall upon good ground. You know, I want to produce God's holy fruit abundantly. Not only that I can benefit from, but I can allow others to benefit from as well. So if I'm around somebody, you know, they can say, hey, I need some help. Here, let me get some fruit of healing. You know, let me tell you what the Lord has done for me. You know, he delivered me in anxiety. And let me tell you, folks, I I'm plum full of anxiety, and I've got people that can testify about it. You know, um, I'm Mr. Anxiety, you know, and uh it it's you know, panic attacks and all of that, and uh, you know, but what I've been learning has caused the ground literally under my feet to break up every time. But I find myself, after the ground breaks up, I find myself landing on on a solid ground. And that right there truly amazes me how that ground breaks up and I just don't keep falling, but God puts me right back on my feet every time. You know, good situation or bad situation, He puts me right back on my feet. I am truly living the scriptures when God says no weapon for and against you shall prosper. You know, having the living word of God physically in my life is worth more than anything that this world can offer. I have to say it has been it has been one roller coaster of a ride. You know, and uh I've had my ups and I've had my downs, and it is uh it it I I'm um I'm in the making, basically you could say, and it makes me sick at times and weak. Then the spirit reminds me, you know, he goes, James, that I am worth more than the sparrows that fly in the air. You know, you are worth more than the sparrows that fly in the air. You know, and and that that means a lot to me. You know, he he's got us in the palm of his hands. You know, he's engulfed us, you know, and he he embraces us, and you know, the word James alone means the heel of God. And uh and I thank God for it. And uh you are counted worthy in the in the Father's eyes. I'm counted worthy in the Father's eyes. You know, in Luke 12, 6, 7 the scripture says, you know, are not five sparrows sold for two fathomed, and not one of them is forgotten before God. But even the very hairs of the head are numbered. Your head is numbered. Fear not, therefore, you're more value than many, many sparrows. Ain't that amazing? It is to be, you know, and and I'm one of those literal type people that takes the scriptures for what they is, you know, and uh the enemy wants us to believe that we're not worthless, but you are. You are not worthless, but you are worthy. I should have said it that way, sorry about that. You know, uh, or you're not good for nothing, but you are good for something. That's why God is calling you. That's why you're listening to the show today. Christian or non-Christian, if you feel like giving up, God's calling you. You're worthy. Don't give up. I gave up, I walked over the blood. You've heard my testimony if you listen to the past shows. You know, I was one of those that walked over the blood of Christ, and then by the mercy of God, I got to be able to come back, and I thank God for it. You know, uh, I can start comparing the scars that's in my life, you know, with you, and I I can say, hey, I've done this or I've done that, you know, but I I really don't want to give the glory to the sin or the situation that's in our lives. That's not what it's about. It's not the scars I want to give glory to, but it's the restoring me to the fullness of God that He has made me for the beginning. It is uh it is the one thing that tells me daily to take, you know, uh my tongue twisted, I apologize. You know, those little uh miss things that I do in here is just to let you know, man, I'm not human. I I am human, but uh I'm nervous. I I really am. I don't know why, but I'm nervous. And you think is what I've I've been doing this for a few years now, I wouldn't be nervous, but I am I'm nervous, folks, because one, I'm telling you the word of God, I'm giving you enlightenment. I'm I'm telling you things that it can help you and things that's helped me, and I'm giving you the fruit of God. So, you know, I've got to stand before God before this and say, Hey God, I give it my all. And and and to him, he'll say, James, yes, you did, and I thank you for it. And he just give me the biggest hug. Um you know, it is the it is that one that tells us, I can't even speak. God is telling you to take up your bed and walk. He's made you whole. He's telling you the same. Take up your bed and walk. He's told me to take up my bed and walk. You know, we we've got to put aside all these things that that so easily beset us and just give them to God. Be who God has called you to be. You know, the enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy. It's the word of God. That's his main objective is to destroy God's creation. And God is to build you back up, and uh and that's what he's doing with me. You know, when I made that decision to come back to God and started following him, he started showing me everything that the enemy has stolen from me. And I tell you what though, I I that is there's a lot of that stuff I didn't know that got stolen from me. And there's been a lot of stuff I just gave away. Didn't realize it either. And it has been a slow process. So I started praying for restoration in my life. And a little at a time since 2000, I think it was 19, now uh I try not I'm not a timekeeper, so say, when it comes, I'm not real sentimental when it comes to things like that. So uh but you know, it's a restoration period that God has been He's been dealing with me, Myth, and He's been taking me through stages of my life. And I've been getting little at a time, I've been getting it back that has been stolen from me, and uh I would love to have everything now, but to be honest with you though, I couldn't handle it. To have everything at one time be given back to me, I wouldn't know how to deal with it. You know, where it reminds me of a scripture, God can't pour new wine into an you know, into a new uh vessel or a new bottle. What'll happen? You know, the the wineskin will burst, the bottle will just explode because of the gases and stuff. He can't handle it, you know, because the old bodies all wore out, and that that's what happened with me. So God has been gradually molding me and shaping me as the potter in the clay. Um, and he's making me into a new creature, and like I said, I'm a living embodiment of the scriptures. You know, if it preached about it, you know, if it talked about it in the Word of God, you know, I was I've been there. And I do truly understand when Paul said he says I'm a chief among sinners, you know, using an example. I I've been there, I've done it. You know, not to flex my muscles and say, hey, but it's the truth. I I I've been there. Uh I'm not will say I'm not um proud of it. But it has been a learning experience. You know, and it is my right as a child of God that everything has to be returned to me in its fullness that has been stolen from me for since birth. You know, he has made us kings and priests unto God and his father to him be the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. That's in Revelation 1 6. He's made you kings and priests. He's made you a prince and princesses. Think about that, folks. Your royalty. You know, as a gentile, he has drafted us into the to the family, into the fold. Now we are as our brothers, the Jews, Jews first in the Gentiles, but we are as one. And uh, you know, if you don't believe it, I I I feel sorry for you, I really do. Because I I can feel this inside of me. It's you know, today it was such a peace of God overwhelming me when I knew that I was coming to the studio and I was like, Yes, I I I I've got this and I could do this, and God has anointed me, and you know, and these are things even you know, to kind of go off script a little bit, even the the enemy, like I said, comes to kill, still and destroy, right? So I stopped literally I just doing my other programs and doing what I had to do and didn't realize, but I was giving the enemy a little at a time. The the most joy in my life was getting on here and you can call it what you want, evangelistic, preaching, apostolytic, or apostle. It it don't matter, you know. God has given me the word of God and He placed it in my heart, and I get to share it. I get to share what God has done for me and where He has brought me from the one besides music, this is like number one, this trumps my music. And He has given me this ministry and and I allowed the enemy to come in and and try to take it from me. And and see, even like I said, you know, I I fall and I crumble, but the Lord picks me right back up, puts me right back on my feet, and sets me, sets me on my way, and and and I thank God for it. Will there become an will there be another battle? Sure. It's gonna happen. And uh I just pray that I'm ready next time and I don't fall. And uh, you know, that's my whole goal is to repent and uh not do it again. You know, uh a little scripture that I use daily on everything is him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is a sin. It might not be a sin to you, but it is to me. It might be small and minute to you, but it's big to me. Or it might be small to me, but you know, it don't matter how big or how small the sin is, all sin will keep you out of heaven. And that's the gospel truth, it's honest, as the Lord is my witness as I stand here behind the mic, all sin. So, you know, God is wanting to let you know that you are worthy and you are in the family of God, and if you're not in the family of God, he he's he's wanting you to. You know, like I said again, you are royalty, you are queens. You know, what is the benefit of being in the family of God? Health, prosperity, joy, strength, most of all, love. That is trumps it all. I'm sick, I have uh issues with my body, uh 50 years old almost, and uh I uh you know I've got health issues, but I know by the love of God that He did on the cross that when I do cross over into the glory land into that promised land, that you're also can cross cross over into. That I will have a new body, a new creature in Christ, no more sickness, no more health issues, you know, no more sorrow, no more pain, no more crying, no more worrying, no more anxiety, no more doubt, no more unbelief. You can list it and keep listing it. Whatever you're going through, it'll be no more. Because God will wrap you up. It'll hold you close. You know, and God wants us to enjoy his happiness even while we're here too. You know, we still have to deal with the cares of the world like far as uh like far as that to deal with the people that you know that don't go to church. That's about as far as much as we had to deal with. But uh God wants us to, like I said, God wants us to enjoy his happiness and all he has to offer. You know, like it says in Psalms 23, you know, I've laid a table before thee. You know, it it before you in front of your enemies. God wants you to eat it. And believe it or not, this mic here is part of my table. And allow the God allows me to eat from it. You know what? I'm going to eat heartily in front of my enemies. And, you know, I I reach out to you. If you don't know Christ, you know, he's telling you, you know, he wants you to be a part of his family. He's calling you by name. He's calling you. He's whoever you may be, he's calling you. All you have to do is call upon the name of Jesus. That's all you have to do is say, Jesus. You know, I could sit here and give you a lengthy prayer and you know, all of this and everything. And he said, Whosoever calleth upon my name and his last names shall be saved. You know, Psalms 102, seven through thirteen, you know, here's another scripture, you know, to say who you are in Christ. You know, I watch and I am as a sparrow alone upon the housetop. My enemies reproach me all the day, and they that are mad against me are sworn against me, for I have eaten ashes like bread, I have mingled my drink with weeping, because of thy ingnation and thy wrath, for thou hast lifted me up and cast me down. My days are like a shadow that declineth, and I am withered like grass, but thou, O Lord, shall endure forever, and thy embrace unto all generations. Thou shalt arise and have mercy upon Zion. That's me, James. That's you whoever you are, for the time to favor her talking about Zion. Or no, he's talking about James. He's talking about you, you kings and you princesses. Yea, the set time has come. Today is the day of salvation. Today, your ears, God is calling you, and you're listening. Whoever you may be, if you're a Christian or non-Christian, God is calling you. And I and I hope I hope you rededicate your life to God, and I hope you give your heart to God. Because I'm telling you, you won't regret it. You you know, I promise you you won't. You know, and I am so much more. I'm an heir to the Most High, Jesus Christ the Son of God. I am a prince among hosts of royalties. You and myself are a living embodiment of the Holy Spirit of God of Jesus Christ. Man, you what is embodiment? It is a proper state of human existence. God's design as image bearers. We are embodied people. First Corinthians chapter twelve for the just or the for the just as the body is one, as many members, and all the members of the body, though many are one body, so it is with Christ. You are Him, He is you. You know, when He told His disciples, you know, and and all the Pharisees and others, when you when you look upon me, you see God. You know, that's been one of my prayers is when people look upon me that they see Christ, and when they see Christ, they see the Father. We're made in the image of our Creator. So

Identity In Christ And Final Call

who am I? I am a child of God. Did you know He again, He's clothed you with royalty? It's more than just protection, it's identifying. And see, we're living in a world today that is fishing for identification, whatever it may be. Uh the vote Friday. If I'm a man or a female or I've got some gender issues, you know, that's see the devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy. So what is the devil trying to do? He's trying to take who you are in Christ. He's trying to take your identity again. Who are you in Christ? First he closes us with his love, his blood. Then he closes us again. You know, we're to take up on the whole armor of God, that we might be able to withstand in the evil days, and having done all to stand, therefore having your loins gird about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness, and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. You know, and I want to point out something in there, you know, the whole scripture's great, but I want to point out peace. You know, having the peace of God is knowing that wherever your feet may tread, you have victory in Jesus. This is knowing who you are. So having your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, do it. What can go wrong? Try. Having the whole armor of God is knowing who you are in your birthright. Again, I apologize for the nasal congestion, but it's kind of throwing me off a little bit. But you know, even at death, I'm I'm kind of closing out here. So even at death the enemy couldn't deny who Christ was. Did you know that? They placed a crown upon his head and clothed him with royalty. The enemy is the his main intention was to mock and destroy Christ. But in truth they had to acknowledge his birthright. Even at his death they had to crown our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Yeah, they was mocking Christ, but they couldn't deny who he was. You know, he is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. And uh I reach out to you. I don't know who you are, and I I do care. Um I do reach out to you, and if you're not saved, I I I ask you to give your heart to God. To re to reach out to God and just call upon him. And I promise you folks, there'll be people there to help you. There'll be a crowd there like it was with Lazarus to help you take off your clothes. And then when there's nobody there, God's there. He's always there. He's always got somebody or something or himself to help you. You know, I I uh a lot of times in my life I feel alone. But God's never failed me, nor has forsaken me. And he's always brought something or someone or himself, like I said, to help me in my situation. And just last Sunday, you know, he brought me a word of God, you know, or rebuke, whatever you want to call it, you know, humility. You know, he brought me uplifting and say, hey James, this is what you need to fix, this is what you need to correct. I still love you. I I'm gonna I'm gonna whoop you here a little bit, but here you go. And, you know, I repented of it and I changed my ways. And I try to be as direct as possible with you and the audiences because I want you to realize that I'm not perfect, but I strive my heartest to be. Because, see, I know the calling that God has placed in my life, and I know the directions. And, you know, the preacher talked about, you know, it's Sunday about, you know, you know where God's taking you, you know what God has told you. He's even told you in detail. See, God is God has told me in so much detail what he has in store for my life and where he's taken me. And there's some things you just won't tell me. I know it's sad. But uh I I I do, I reach out to you. I I don't know who you are. I don't know what country you're in or where you're from. You're local or you're thousands of miles away, or Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Australia, Asia, the European nations, uh, Africa, I don't know. But when you give your heart to God, you are drafted into this family. You are, you will be one of my brothers and one of my sisters. And I may never get to see you here on earth, but I promise you, the day that we get to heaven, I'll see you, and I'll know who you are. And I'll say, hey, you're the one that listened to my podcast and gave your heart to God. It wasn't me, it was all God, and we'll rejoice in heaven. But see, you know right now, if you give your heart to God, the heavens will open up and rejoice for you right now. I may not know until I get to heaven, but heaven knows right now, and they're having a party and a half up there if you give your heart to God, and if you just call upon him. And that's the truth. And see, and just not that, he's gonna build you a mansion. He's gonna let you walk on streets of gold. Nobody in poverty can do that. Only royalty. And see, God is telling you, Who are you in Christ? Again, you're a royalty. You are of a child of God and again I beg you. I know it's repetitive, but time is short. You can look at our you can look at the weather, you can look at the news. No matter what it is, I'm not going to get into it. Maybe I'll do a show on politics one day and you know, just you know, do it that way. But I I really don't want to give the world glory, but it's in torment right now. You know, there there's a lot going on. There's wars and rumors of wars, there's famine. It's all there. Uh we're experiencing in these last days, and I believe we are. And uh I love you. And uh again, again, I pray that you give your heart to God and you reach out to him and just call upon his name. What is his name? I can't hear you. It's Jesus. Jesus is the one that saves. I love you, folks, and I thank you for listening to the show. And again, this is uh this is a new show, and it's called Stewardship. So look further, I mean, look for more uh content with it.
